Responsibilities:
Migration Planning:
· Develop comprehensive plans for the migration of manufacturing plants, including timelines, resource requirements, and risk assessments.
· Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define migration objectives and success criteria.
Technical Evaluation:
· Conduct thorough evaluations of existing plant infrastructure, equipment, and processes to determine compatibility with the migration plan.
· Identify potential challenges and propose solutions to mitigate risks during the migration.
Execution and Implementation:
· Oversee the execution of plant migration activities, ensuring adherence to the established plan.
· Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to implement necessary changes and upgrades.
Communication and Collaboration:
· Communicate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure a seamless migration process.
· Collaborate with IT, operations, and engineering teams to address technical issues and ensure alignment with business goals.
Testing and Validation:
· Conduct thorough testing of migrated systems and processes to validate their functionality and performance.
· Implement corrective actions and optimizations as needed to meet project objectives.
Documentation:
· Maintain detailed documentation of the migration process, including configurations, changes, and test results.
· Provide training and documentation for end-users on the new plant setup.
Equipment Maintenance:
· Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
· Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
· Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
Troubleshooting:
· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Proficient in using engineering software and tools.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
· Proven experience in managing and executing plant migration projects.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and plant infrastructure.
· Project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans.
