Requirements:

SYSTEM ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The Test Engineer role in Q&T Facility is responsible for running tests for manufacturing and new product development teams in the center. The person needs to work closely with the test requestors to understand the testing requirements, test regime, conduct gap analysis, create, and execute a plan for completing tests in the facility. The role requires understanding of complex flow loops, auxiliary equipment’s such as pumps, motors, heaters, heat exchangers, compressors, and related power equipment’s such as switch gears, feeders, UPS, drives, transformers. • Implement agreed corporate account commitments and proactively inform CAM of results, issues and initiatives

Requirements:

• Preferably a university degree in Chemical Process Engineering, Food Science.
• At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and integrity
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to sell value and solutions
• A positive, flexible and results-orientated attitude with capabilities to handle pressure
• Industry experience
• Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills

• Customer service orientation with consultative selling aptitude
• Technical understanding (e.g., electrical, mechanical)
• A valid Singapore Driver’s license

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will need to

1. Plan, create, release and follow up on production orders

2. Carry out preventive maintenance of machines and perform quality control inspection

3. Liaise with machine manufacturers to perform troubleshooting of production equipment as and when needed

4. Review and recommend disposition of rejected in-coming raw material, work-in-process and finished goods

5. Investigate quality escapes and recommend preventive measures

6. Collect and analyse production data to improve production efficiency and processes

7. Perform stocktaking duties

8. Perform any adhoc duties as assigned by superior

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for this role, you will need to have

1. At least a minimum NITEC in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering certificate.

2. 1 to 2 years of working experience preferred.

3. Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings

4. Good command of written and spoken English needed for communications with overseas vendors

5. Competency in the use of Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint

6. A team player who is self motivated and demonstrates initiative

7. A highly analytical and meticulous problem solver

8. A hands-on learner and loves working with machinery

9. Comfortable with working with a diverse group of people
