• Sales & Marketing for new & existing customers.
• Correspondence with shipping lines (purchase of ocean freights).
• Correspondence with government authorities for customer declaration purposes.

As a business development executive, you will be required to perform the following:

• Identify source of data to generate leads and build the database from such sources
• Generate leads and follow-up on leads
• Canvass, conduct door-to-door sales, and cold-call customers
• Gathers and documents business and functional requirements
• Present the pitch for business and communicate value
• Demonstrate solutions to the prospective customers
• Assists in defining the scope of the project
• Prepares the project plan and costing
• Define the pricing of the project
• Prepare, finalize and follow-up on the proposal
• Keep abreast of competition and their actions
• Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company’s products or services
• Preparing agreements, sales reports, and presentations
• Raise invoices on a timely basis
• Collect payment against the sales invoices
• Identify possibilities of up-sales
• Achievement of the revenue and profitability targets of the company
• Making good outgoing calls and direct mailers to generate new business
• Handling and responding to incoming sales inquiries. These incoming inquiries can be via incoming telephone calls, e-mails, faxes or regular mail to contribute to the efficiency of the Company.

On a case to case basis, you may be also requested to carry out solution implementation and support tasks as follows:

• Leads and delivers implementation projects through analysis, design, development, testing, training, and deployment activities necessary to deliver superior quality solutions
• Liaise with technology vendors such as RFID, Barcode, POS, etc.
• Provide support to clients as and when necessary
