Job Summary

Support Finance Lead to manage company Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable. Other responsibilities include Inventory/Fixed Assets Management and other ad-hoc administrative work

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Raise tax invoice and credit notes in the companys accounting system Reconcile A/R balance on a regular basis; monitor and chase long-overdue debts with relevant parties
• Update client accounts based on payment or contact information

Accounts Payable

• Verify and input suppliers invoices and payments in the company's accounting system
• Process payments on a timely basis
• Reconcile A/P balance on regular basis
• Reconcile petty cash disbursements

Inventory/Fixed assets

• Inventory management, investigate discrepancies
• Resolve inventory issues, inventory levels, obsolescence, disappearance
• Periodic stockstock-taking taking and preparation of inventory report
• Manage fixed assets activities and ensure all assets are accountable

Ad-hoc Administrative work

• GST and other statutory reporting
• Bank reconciliation
• Maintain a full set of accounts and produce monthly consolidated reports
• Liaising with external auditors during annual audit and preparation of draft audited accounts
• Assist in preparation of annual and revised budget
• Ad-hoc Task

Skills & Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of QuickBooks will be an advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving

Job Description:

1.⁠ ⁠Accounts Receivables

• Oversee and manage the accounts receivables process to ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding invoice
• Downloading of sales transactions from various online sales platforms and allocating revenue based on product.
• Maintain thorough records of transactions to support accurate financial reporting and forecasting.

2. Accounts Payables

• Perform invoice verification with internal stakeholders to verify accuracy of invoice
• Processing the AP invoice in accounting software
• Generate weekly payment list for payment processing

3.⁠ ⁠⁠Weekly Sales Report / Monthly Sales Report

• Compile and analyze sales data on a weekly and monthly basis to generate detailed sales reports.
• Updating of sales figures in accordance to sale channels and products
• Ensure timely distribution of reports to relevant stakeholders.

4.⁠ Inventory Management Support:

• Assist in conducting comprehensive stock takes at various retail locations and warehouses
• Ensure accurate inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and provide detailed reports on stock levels.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
