JOB PURPOSE

This role supports all C&B and Financial operations activities for the Fujifilm Business Innovation Asia Pacific (FBAP) office and in the region. The incumbent will work closely with FBAP Finance, FFAP Finance (as needed) teams, FBAP HR, Opcos HR and/or Finance teams, to ensure timely and accurate deliverables of all C&B and financial related activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for the following but not limited to:-

• Preparing and submitting all financial related activities, for FBAP on budgeting, costing, accruals, forecast (outlook), re-charging and reconciliation activities relating to manpower cost.
• Liaising and is the point of contact with Finance teams on manpower budget, costing, accruals, forecast (outlook) and re-charging activities.
• Working closely with Finance teams to deliver and ensure timelines relating to budget, costing, forecast, accruals and recharging processes, deliverables and timelines are met.
• Working closely with Finance teams on C&B payment transactions for reconciliation.
• Driving process harmonization, improvements to achieve simplification and efficiency.
• Driving governance of the C&B and financial related activities, to ensure compliance with ISMS and procurement requirements.
• Developing a tracking mechanism to ensure compliance with Legal, Procurement & ISMS requirements on C&B contract renewals, IDMP & PO/PR requiremen
• Handling, processing and tracking all C&B and financial related inter-company re-charging, purchase orders, invoices, and re-charging activities/documentations, ensuring they are billed by vendors on a timely manner.
• Developing and updating SOP on all C&B operational & financial related activities.
• Raising IDMP (internal decision making process) document, monitoring and tracking them, ensuring that IDMP is raised for all vendor service renewal
• Tracking and initiating benefits contract renewal, performing costing analysis, and liaising with vendors.
• Consolidating, analysing and submitting data for salary, benefits & government related surveys, as required.
• Consolidating, reviewing and submitting census data to benefits vendors, suppliers, as required.
• Gathering information/data and simulating manpower costing and resource planning
• Supporting in other Financial and C&B related work activities, as required.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Degree or Diploma holders
• Min 3yrs Finance related experience. Experience in HR is an advantage.
• Must have knowledge on accounting terms and be numerical.

Position Overview:
The Medical Affairs Associate will play a critical role in project management, ensuring smooth coordination and communication across various stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the US, Korea, and Europe. This role is ideal for a junior doctor with a solid foundation in retinal biomarkers, the link between retinal signs and systemic diseases, a basic understanding of AI and deep learning, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:Coordinate and manage medical affairs projects, ensuring timely progress and successful completion.
   Set up, maintain, and document regular meetings with KOLs and other key stakeholders across different regions (US, Korea, Europe).
   Track project timelines, deliverables, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
   Experience with project management tools like Excel, Slack etc.
   
2. Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, research partners, and other stakeholders.

3. Medical Expertise:Apply foundational knowledge of retinal diseases, systemic diseases, and the connection between retinal signs and systemic conditions to support ongoing research and development efforts.

4. Regulatory Support:Assist in reviewing and preparing regulatory documents in compliance with relevant guidelines.
   Support the regulatory team by providing medical insights and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
   
5. AI & Deep Learning:Utilize a basic understanding of AI and deep learning to contribute to discussions on the integration of these technologies in medical research.
   Stay updated on the latest developments in AI as it relates to healthcare, retinal diseases, and systemic conditions.
   
6. Learning & Development:Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new concepts, tools, and technologies relevant to the role.

Requirements:

• Education: Medical degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent)
• Experience:Strong foundational knowledge of retinal diseases, biomarkers, and systemic diseases.
  Understanding of the link between retinal signs and systemic conditions.
  Basic understanding of AI and deep learning concepts.
  Experience in project management or a similar role in a clinical or research setting is a plus but not required.
  Experience with statistical tools (STATA, R, Python) and publications is a bonus but not required.
