5. Emergency Response:

• Establish and oversee emergency response protocols including but not limited to a Risk Assessment for technical malfunctions, equipment failures and/or electrical downtime.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and/or parties to ensure a swift and effective response to any such emergencies.

6. Budget Management:

• Collaborate with the management team to develop and manage the technical services budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.

7. Compliance and Regulations:

• Key personnel in liaison with relevant authorities for all types of inspections and/or approvals, ensuring the technical systems and the structures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

8. Vendor and Contractor Relations:

• Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors providing technical services or equipment to the park without compromising on integrity.
• Negotiate contracts, oversee service agreements, and evaluate the performance of third-party service providers.

9. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, manuals and drawings, etc.

Working with the ED of Children and Youth Group (CYG), the Asst Manager is expected to lead the development of new fundraising channels through community engagement as well as engaging and increasing the donations from the current ones. The Asst Manager will also recruit and engage volunteers and corporates to support the needs of vulnerable children and families under our care, whether in our children's homes or other services. The Asst Manager will regularly engage potential and current supporters of CYG in order to deepen relationships and networks so that our pool of supporters can be grown.

Job Responsibilities

1. Community Partnership and fundraising

• Raise funds for our cause and meet fundraising targets
• Lead in planning and coordinating events, whether by TSA PR or by CYG, to raise funds
• Create marketing materials, like flyers and brochures, to be used for the promotion of events and other fundraising needs
• Develop and deepen relationship with our key supporters and widen networks to increase and deepen reach to more committed donors
• Work with CYG centres to lead, co-develop, coordinate and/or execute fundraising initiatives, events and campaigns as needed
• Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communications
• Build upon existing donor relationships and form new donor relationships and increase penetration into community networks
• Collaborate with other organisations and groups within the community to build partnerships and enhance fundraising activities.

1. Volunteer Recruitment and Management

• Recruit and build a good pool of volunteers and corporates to meet the needs of CYG, especially those of our children's homes
• Work with the necessary partners to enable positive experiences for volunteers and corporates
• Work with necessary stakeholders to plan and manage volunteers so that they are able to execute the role that they have been given and CYG and our clients can benefit
• Manage volunteer communications and complaints where necessary

1. Professional Development, Supervision & Training

• Promote professional development through identifying learning needs, transfer of skills and knowledge and offer training where appropriate to the team
• Seek out learning opportunities such as participating in meetings, ministry level assignments, practise research and development to further develop skills and capabilities of the group

JOB PURPOSE

As a key team member of the GC&B team, work with the lead in the planning, formulation and review of C&B programmes and policies at the Group level, NHG’s institutions in attracting, motivating and retaining the right talents to support business strategies.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

C&B Partner

· Work closely with the Ministries on key sectoral C&B alignment, salary review and policy matters

· Work together closely with site HR on any policy change/deviation request to understand institutional needs and find solutions taking into consideration the system-wide impact. Review/propose recommendations and follow through to get necessary approvals from Senior Management

· Provide guidance on interpretation of C&B policies and practices. Provide consultative support and work with institutions under the NHG Group to roll out C&B programmes
