We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remittance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our over-the-counter remittance services. You will ensure smooth and efficient transaction processing while maintaining strict compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service and managing a team of remittance agents.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the remittance center, ensuring efficient and timely processing of transactions.
· Supervise, train, and motivate a team of remittance agents, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements governing remittance services.
· Implement and maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure the accuracy of transactions.
· Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service.
· Prepare regular reports on remittance activity, transaction volumes, and compliance-related matters.
· Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and changes in regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
· 3+ years of proven experience in a remittance or money transfer environment.
· Strong knowledge of remittance regulations, AML/KYC compliance, and fraud prevention measures.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Proficient in using remittance software and systems.
