Job Description

• Oversee process mechanical design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including P&ID, equipment/piping/valve sizing, equipment selection, equipment/piping layout, equipment specification/data sheet, etc
• Provide process mechanical input and coordinate with other disciplines (including the BIM modelling team) for the design, installation and T&C work
• Oversee technical review of mechanical equipment/system vendors’ proposal and submission during procurement, detailed design and installation stages, support the procurement and tender work
• Prepare the process mechanical submissions and resubmissions to project consultants and client according to project schedule and clear the submittal comments
• Manage the mechanical equipment suppliers / subcontractors to meet the project schedule and quality requirements for design, installation and testing & commissioning
• Support on the testing, commissioning and O&M work

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical/environmental/mechanical engineering
• Minimum 4 Years’ experience in process/mechanical work (design, engineering, installation support, T&C, etc.), ideally for water/wastewater treatment project (including sludge treatment); For senior position, candidate must have at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with international and local standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, PUB Singapore regulations)
• Familiarity with mechanical equipment used in WWTPs, including such as screens, pumps, mixers, blower, air compressors, tanks, biogas equipment, odour control system, sludge equipment, piping, and valves, etc
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as MS Office
• Knowledge in Naviswork and Bentley View Software will be an added advantage

Salary: (Junior, 2-4 yrs related experience: upto 4,000)

JOB SCOPE (Design Engineer)

- Design, test, debug and commission the company’s product, which include jigs and fixtures, customized semi and fully automatic machines.

- Attend meetings with customers to discuss on their requirements in new projects and/or project proposals.

- Research and develop new ideas and concept to enhance company’s performance and competitiveness in the field of industrial automation.

- Procure and/or assist in the procurement of necessary items to enable the performance of above duties.

Requirements

- Minimum ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum two years’ experience in customized Automation Machine Design.

- Experience in customized semi-con/ connector/ machine design preferred.

- Knowledge in Solidworks preferred, familiar with Pro-E and Inventor added advantage.

- Intuitive in mechanical movement, function and performance, good perception of 2D & 3D objects.

Probation period - (3 to 6 months)

Annual Wage Scheme - (Basic annual + 13th month ++)

Performance Bonus - (Depending on Sales and Nett profit)

· Competent in his/her engineering skill especially in design/knowledge & understanding of code of practice in building services to customer.

· Ensure quality of material & installation by suppliers/subcontractors in line with ISO quality plan.

· Coordinate, monitor & control of supplier’s materials/equipment & subcontractors installation quality.

· Produce shop drawings & coordination of drawings & coordination of drawings etc.

· Prepare work schedules & attend client meeting and internal meeting

· To assist manager on the day to day activities under the master planning schedule, quality, safety etc

· To control proper coordination with main contractor to prevent rework etc

· To control site material/equipment so as to reduce wastage.

· To communicate closely with suppliers / subcontractors to reduce delivery delay affecting progress.

· Check for non conformance product or installation to avoid defects.

· To explore new technology and new installation methods so as to improve productivity level

· Follow up closely on site progress & communicate clearly to subcontractors & supplier

Requirement :

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

· Singaporean or Permanent Resident only.

Job Description

• Prepare and review the design of the Mechanical Works, such as piping & equipment drawings, calculation and data sheets.
• Involve in daily coordination with internal C&S and BIM team to resolve all the clashes, penetration etc.
• Develop the work schedule and coordination of the project works to ensure project is on schedule.
• Attend to FAT, supervision of the delivery, installation and testing and commissioning of mechanical works.
• Handle and resolve all site technical relating matters.
• Prepare, review and assist in subcontractor design and submission, ensuring all project specifications and design standards are met.
• Prepare all relevant checklist for Installation and Testing & Commissioning Works.
• Assist and collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.
• Attend to clients’ comments and ensure clients’ approval & acceptance to all Mechanical Works related design, installation and Testing & Commissioning Works.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Working experience in water or wastewater industry will be an advantage.
• Familiar with Auto CAD, Mechanical, Structure drawings and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning of the mechanical works e.g. pipings, pumps etc.
• Experience in Project Execution, Project Coordination, Supervising and Coordination with sub-contractors, consultant, and Client.
• Good technical knowledge in understanding the Mechanical System.
• Well versed in BIM software i.e. Bentley and Navisworks
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Will be required to work full time on project site.

• Prepare documentations and coordination with government sectors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in LTA project
