Guest laundry
1. To pick up all in-house guest laundry for dry cleaning, whenever necessary
2. To identify and account for each specific type(s) of laundry, to ensure the quantity and type of laundry collected is in accordance with the laundry list
3. To inspect each collected article(s) of guest laundry thoroughly and ensure that no defects and stains are found. In the case of any defects and stains present, he/ she are expected to immediately notify guest and to record the nature of defect(s) and stain(s) accordingly on the laundry list before sending off to laundry operator
4. Conduct thorough inspection of all returned laundry for discrepancies and defects in accordance to laundry list before proceeding to returning to guests’ rooms
5. Respond to all guests’ inquiries, concerns, and requests in relation to laundry services and charges, whenever necessary
House linen
1. Daily collecting, sorting and recording of all soiled in-house linen from Apartment Attendants and exchanging with clean linen
2. Respond to all guests’ inquiries, concerns, and requests in relation to linen whenever necessary
3. Any other assignments assigned by Senior Linen Maid, Supervisors, and Manager -Housekeeping.
Requirements:
• Basic understanding and command of English
• Past knowledge of laundry services in hospitality setting is preferable
• Possesses basic proficiency in sewing and washing machines, as well as ironing
• Able to lift heavy loads
• Available to work 6 days per week – Mondays to Saturdays
