A Research Officer is needed for Nick Barker's Epithelial Stem Cell & Cancer Group.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to help manage our mouse colony (implementing and managing complex breeding regimes, weaning, time-pregnancies, surgeries, tail clipping etc). The candidate will be expected to perform these tasks independently after the requisite training has been given.

In addition, he/she will assist research fellows with performing standard lab work and experimental mouse procedures, including tissue processing, histology, and cell culture, as well as contributing to general lab tasks.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in biology or related field.

Prior experience in working with mice is highly advantageous, but not essential.

Successful candidates must have a passionate enthusiasm for research, be self-motivated, highly organized, enjoy working as a team and have good communication skills.

Job Description

• Create a warm and positive experience for the hotel guests by attending to their needs and requests
• Generate daily reports to reconcile between guests’ bookings with reservation correspondences and alert the Reservations team to follow up on any discrepancies
