Responsibilities
a. Lead and organize WSH meetings, conduct sites inspection, audit and follow up on actions.
b. Provide Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) support to the Project Team, to plan, implement and maintain effective EHS management system and plans.
c. Conduct team/ individual WSHE inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups
d. Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
e. Ensure legal compliance as per statutory requirements.
f. Conduct regular WSH inspections on general safety practices and audit to ensure that staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards
g. Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
h. Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and executive of safety programmes
i. Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:-
a. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction
b. Possess relevant safety certificates (Eg Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent)
c. Good knowledge of Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety Health and Environment
d. Familiar with OSH / ISO documentation.
e. Possess good communication skills
