DBS Bank is looking for a Cloud engineer with experience working on enterprise level applications to drive Private Cloud automation.

Responsibilities

• Administrate the full OpenShift platform life cycle to ensure the platform remains secure, reliable and highly available.
• Work with other engineers to support the infrastructure of OpenShift as well as assist to resolve infrastructure queries/issues of OpenShift tenant applications.
• Automation of platform operations and management.
• Configure and Manage Monitoring, alerts for the OpenShift environments.
• Manage capacity for OpenShift environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration and tools such as Jira and Jenkins.
• Ensure continuous uptime of Cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and deliver automation systems on-time with good quality.

• Functional / Technical CompetenciesInfrastructure Operations and Production Support of container technologies and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes & OpenShift)
  Working with tools surrounding the Kubernetes ecosystem such as helm, kubeadm, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD etc.
  Working with configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, terraform etc.)
  Strong technical analytical and troubleshooting skills and possess an ability to explain technical concepts and provide guidance to staff.
  Proficient to expert scripting and automation skills converting manual and maintenance functions into fully orchestrated automation.
  Must have Strong Knowledge & experience in system monitoring techniques and tools supporting unattended operations.
  Strong system security awareness and knowledge in OS hardening.

Develop, implement, support and monitor NMR (New Mobility Retail) Technical improvement / roll-out programs and projects to meet the group standards for engineering, construction and maintenance, in close collaboration with the NMR Technical Manager:

Project Development phase:

• Reviewing and approving the technical part of investment files from the affiliates

• Participate in the development/design phase of the projects while ensuring coordination with affiliates

• Define and make sure that all the global and local procedures, HSE & technical standards, tools and documents necessary for the deployment of the project, are known and applied by the affiliates

• Implement and make sure that framework contracts are known and used by the affiliates

Project Execution phase:

• Organize the assistance and visits of the affiliates

• Define, in collaboration with the affiliates, structured action plans (objectives, internal organization, assistance, tools) and accompany their implementation

• Validate the country objectives and challenge the targets (number of projects, design, typology of the solutions)

• Ensure compliance with HSE, engineering and construction standards

• Monitor progress and ensure reporting with KPIs, identify delays and support affiliates to achieve the target

Expertise, training, best practices & zone activities follow-up:

• Be the expert of the zone for NMR Technical activities (projects & operations)

• Coordinate with HQs (HR Training, HSE and Tech Team), the training of the concerned affiliates staff

• Increase technical skills of employees by animating the digital technical community (webinars, yammer…)

• Carry out the REX and organize the internal benchmarks on the practices and the results.

• Report progress, optimizations and best practices to the zone management as well as Paris HQ.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor Degree in the discipline of engineering

• At least (3) years solid experience in retail and/or new mobilities construction and maintenance management.

• Hands on experience in the computerized maintenance management system

• Knowledge of TotalEnergies procedures, design and equipment standards, norms and their application would be appreciated

Job Description

• The Design Engineer is responsible for day-to-day design and engineering activities.
• He/She shall handle design independently and take up responsibilities to deal various for authorities like BCA/CSC, ST and follow up with site until Top/ CSC.
• He/She shall attend project meetings with other consultants /clients / authorities.
• He/She shall be responsible to site design issues and site visits.
• He/She has spent significant years on the job and acquitted technical knowledge and skills relating to the design of residential, industrial and infra structures related projects.
• The Design Engineers expertise is essential to his/ her responsibilities to provide technical guidance to his/her team and lead projects of oderate complexity or less routine in nature.
• The design Engineer should have knowledge on Euro Code regulations.
• Should have knowledge on concrete and steel structural design
• Should able to work in STAADPro
• Willing to work late hours and site offices are required and Go site visit along with PE and supervise activities on requests.

• Support any technical activity on Alstom products during PI period as well as Testing/Commissioning and warranty Phase.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunction/failure of operational equipment and recommends preventative and corrective actions.

• As Application Engineer for Fluid Handling, you are working on Industry & Energy activities to support Sales Channels in achieving short- and long-term business objectives, increased profit and market growth.
• You're familiar with the specified application for end users & OEs. Provide troubleshooting support and give right recommendations to customers.
• Sensitive to market change, input the innovation direction to Product Development and implement the new product validation both in lab and in field as well as giving the final evaluation.
• Training to customers and internal departments from technical aspects.
• Executes department policies according to input from Head of Application Engineering. Ensures compliance with company policies & procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Science or Business studies (university/university of applied science)

Additional Information

• Project management experience in major projects, especially in international business environment
• Project management experience specifically within an international business environment is highly desirable
• Experience with fluid handling, hoses, hose fittings, especially in the fields of industrial or energy markets
