Position: Arts Administrator

Are you passionate about the arts and culture? Do you have a knack for organizing events, engaging audiences, and managing administrative tasks? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Arts Administrator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our vibrant arts organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of database, registrations and correspondence related to events and programs. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, communication, and office organization. Support Finance Director to ensure accurate financial documentation.
2. Event and Program Management: Work with the Artistic Director and Regional Directors to plan and execute engaging and memorable artistic events, conference, competitions and workshops.
Develop detailed event schedules, manage logistical arrangements, and ensure the seamless execution of all activities.
3. Marketing and Promotion: Communicating and working closely with marketing team for them to create and implement strategic marketing plans to promote upcoming events and programs to our target audience.
Assist in managing social media platforms and coordinate advertising campaigns to increase visibility and attendance.
4. Human Resources and Staff Management: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of ad hoc staff, volunteers, and interns involved in various projects and events.
Provide supervision, support, and guidance to team members to ensure successful event execution.
5. Grant and Proposal Writing: Research potential grant opportunities and prepare compelling grant proposals and funding applications.
Compile necessary data and documentation to support grant submissions and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Arts Administration, Arts Management, Event Management, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in event planning, program management, and marketing within the arts and culture sector.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with artists, stakeholders, and the general public.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms.
- Familiarity with grant and proposal writing, including research and application processes.
- Previous experience in supervising and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Passion for the arts and a deep understanding of the cultural landscape.
Other information:
- Working hours: Mondays to Fridays 9am - 6pm
- Able to work on weekends during events (with leave-in-lieu and allowance)
- Able to travel for events (with per diem)
Remuneration:
- Salary: $2,500 to $3,500
- CPF and benefits
