What you’ll do

· Manage stakeholder relationships within the APAC region, building trust and confidence among customers and internal teams

· Serve as the primary liaison and subject matter expert for all operational and implementational support related to the technology platform within the APAC region, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for all stakeholders. This will include:

· Proactive identification and resolution of customer impacting issues

· Single point of accountability providing end to end ownership to drive successful and timely customer focussed outcomes

· Having a detailed understanding of the customer’s business with Thredd (products, customer journeys, volumes) and needs

· Spearhead the development and execution of robust operational strategies to support and optimize the technology platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and enhance overall system performance.

· Ensuring the Customer Care global standards and processes are followed when delivering support and service to customers

· Mentoring and developing the Customer Care team supporting APAC customers, delivering continuous improvement and paths to resolution

· Being an escalation point or thought partner in the resolution of issues

· Working with external and internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are being managed

· Understanding, following and adhering to defined incident management procedures and communication plans. Contributing to continuous improvement of Thredd’s Incident Management process

· Appropriate escalation of issues, providing clear and factual information, communicating with the necessary teams

Main Purpose of Job:

Oversight and continuous improvement of the operations team’s activities, focused on process and efficiency improvements, elimination of redundant or time-consuming processes, and thereby on improving and strengthening the team’s performance and value-add as internal service providers to the Asia and Middle East Partnership and their clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Job:

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Voyage Management

• Be the primary point of contact for the Master of the vessel ensuring that a close, cooperative bond is built on trust and mutual respect.
• Provide support, guidance and direction as needed.
• Appoint and liaise with port agents, plan, and monitor port operations to result in effective port turn around.
• Ensure stowage plans are optimised to maximise intakes in the most economic fashion.
• File/follow up on all voyage related matters from Charterers.
• Monitor day to day performance of the vessel in compliance with CP, including speed performance and bunker consumption and promote weather routing and route optimisation (SECA zones etc).
• Daily update of vessel schedule to Charterers.
• Be responsible for commercial documentation such as B/Ls and LOIs.
• Prepare laytime calculations.
• Ensure timely and accurate input into company's software system.
• Monitor profit and loss of respective vessel voyages.

Voyage Fiscal Management

• Monitor voyage related fiscal items including agency disbursement.
• Verify agent PDA and FDA invoices and arrange payment.
• Monitor freight/dead freight/demurrage/rebillables and other claim invoices.
• Prepare and send out freight invoices.
• Prepare and send out deviation and interim port invoices.
• Prepare and send out rebillable invoices.
• Prepare and send out demurrage invoices.
• Send out weekly reminder to Charterers for outstanding invoices.
• Prepare Charter Hire statements and arrange for payments promptly.
