Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring that service standards, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices are consistently met.
• Manage all aspects of bar and restaurant operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control.
• Develop and implement effective operational procedures to optimize efficiency and improve guest satisfaction.
• Conduct Distillery Tours and Cocktail Masterclasses as and when required in the bar team’s absence.
• Fine tune the experiences and offerings of the venue and brand to enhance positive guest experiences.

Customer Experience

• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints promptly, including raising the bar for review platforms such as Google Reviews and TripAdvisor.
• Implement programs to enhance the overall dining experience and encourage repeat business.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to for the comfort of guests and employees.
• Work with marketing and reservation platforms to ensure a seamless booking experience, thereafter setting a customised email to thank guests for visiting as well as collect feedback.

Marketing & Community Engagement

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant through various channels such as Klook, Pelago, Seek Sophie and Venuerific, including social media and local events.
• Collaborate with marketing team and bar operators to develop promotional materials and campaigns for special events and season offerings.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and the local community.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Menu Development

• Work closely with the bar team and HQ to create and update the menu as needed.
• Develop and oversee the bar’s beverage programme, including cocktail and drink specials, ensuring quality, innovation and brand alignment by launching limited time cocktails with festivities or beverage related events such as “Negroni Week”, “World Gin Day” etc.
• Train staff on beverage knowledge, including wines, spirits and cocktails to enhance guest recommendations and staff confidence.
• Monitor product mix and log in data for analysis, to better understand development of the next menu as well as to create par levels to optimise holding cost.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring a consistent eating experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Operations Manager or in a similar role within the bar and restaurant industry

Requirements

• Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in healthcare sector, with strong operations management leadership including areas in performance monitoring, process improvement, project management and implementation.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a combination of operations management and project management. Experience in start-up of new healthcare facility will be most relevant
• Possess strong leadership and people management skills,
• Resourceful, strong in decision making, problem solving and communication skills
• Experience in operations in healthcare sector and/or IT industry will be an added advantage
• Excellent organisation skills, able to prioritize tasks and time efficiently, work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• IT skills proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, Power BI and other software will be an added advantage

Reporting to the Operations Director, we are seeking for an Operations Assistant for:

• Running of banking errands.
• Collection and delivery of good, documents, cheques and cash to office premises, shipyards, onboard vessel and other location within Singapore.
• Ensure proper and safe handling of goods, cash, cheques and documents with due dilegence.
• To be responsible for general maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles under your care.
• To arrange for the vehicles regular servicing and repair when necessary.
• To observe all traffic rules and regulations (you shall be fully responsible for any traffic offence and penalty incurred) and observe road safety.
• To perform logistics duties when required, such as stock take and other light duties.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Singapore driving license (Class 3) with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate vehicles, including vans or trucks, in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Meticulous, dependable and trustworthy
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of resolving unexpected challenges or issues that may arise during errands or deliveries.
• Good physical health and stamina to handle the demands of driving and carrying out delivery tasks efficiently.
• Strong awareness of safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others while on the road and during delivery tasks.
• Knowledge of Singapore's roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns to navigate efficiently and minimize delivery time.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and basic troubleshooting.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes in delivery schedules, traffic conditions, or additional tasks as required.
• Courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with clients or representatives during delivery and collection tasks.
