The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing international freight movements efficiently and seamlessly. As the primary liaison, the Supervisor engages with suppliers, Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and internal stakeholders, addressing all global freight-related matters. DSC Clinic (31 Kelantan Lane), our outpatient clinic for the diagnosis, treatment and control of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) in Singapore.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Interviews and provides STI information to patients.

• Follow-up on patients who have been diagnosed with STIs or have defaulted treatment.

• Contacts patients' sexual partners for screening and treatment.

• Reviews electronic medical records (EMR) details.

• Provides Medical Scheme information and STI education to brothel keepers and Medical Scheme registrants.

• Conducts routine checks on brothels to ensure they comply with the Medical Scheme guidelines.

• Participates in educational and research activities and projects (HIV ST Project).

• Manage the National STIs/HIV hotline and STI registry

• Assist in generating STI statistics

Job Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline

• Counselling background is an added advantage

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

The incumbent shall assist the COO in leading the Operations Department to ensure smooth daily operaton of the nursing home.

This includes ensuring that the Nursing Home is in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, safety, and environmental requirements; as well as implementing measures to ensure that the physical integrity of the building structure, its appearance, and optimal functions meet the necessary standards.

• Manage and oversee the development of the nursing home in collaboration with health authorities and agencies.
• Work with Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of the facilities, laundry, housekeeping, security, fire command center, and transportation services in the nursing home.
• Oversee Workplace Safety functions including pandemic preparedness, work with Fire Safety Manager in conducting fire drill etc.
• Ensure that adequate measures are taken to maintain and upkeep the building and environment so as to protect the health and safety of all residents and staff in the nursing home.
• Assess and submit both ongoing and emergent requests for the maintenance of environmental services and equipment of the Home.
• Engage and ensure service delivery of contracted vendors and services providers to meet business and operational requirements.
• Work with in-house kitchen consultant in managing daily kitchen operations
• Work with Nursing Leaders to ensure the logistical needs are met timely and efficiently.
• Develop and implement operations strategy for the nursing home, including but not limited to efficiency and productivity-related projects
• Maintain and upkeep operational SOP, conduct regular audits.
• Plan, communicate and implement policies, and ensure procedures meet operational excellence.
• Manage the streamlining of cross-department workflows and processes to maintain operational excellence
• Manage and oversee the department's budgets and expenditures.
• Timely reporting and analysis of Operations Management System KPIs
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma / Degree in Business/Building/Facilities Management/Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical knowledge of Nursing Home’s operations would be an advantage
• Good coordination, interpersonal and people management skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of data analytics, visualization, and related software.
