Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in .NET C# programming, primarily in Blazor Technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering well-designed and configured software systems such as in web blazor applications and desktop applications (WPF, C#) that cater to our internal Engineering demand. He/She will also provide technical expertise to the Managers.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of .NET C# programming experience, strong skills in software design, a passion for .NET development and innovation and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

You will be working with the Test Measurement Centre (TMC) team and the Test Development Engineer who will provide the data sources and locations of our devices data.
You will be designing, documenting, developing and delivering software products, specifically responsible for the following as appropriated by the TMC Team for the projects:
Developing .NET C# software modules including Blazor Server Apps,
Writing SQL Server queries, MongoDB transactions and stored procedures
Functional and Interface Specifications
Writing acceptance and deployment reports and executing them
Site Test Specification/Reports
Take a leading role in software documentation, development, configuration and testing on assigned projects
Participate in reviews (document, design, functionality and code reviews)
Actively contribute to the improvement of software development processes
Development of User Manuals and Training the end users


Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of .Net C# programming experience
Experience in Blazor ASP.NET \ WinForms and WPF GUI
Extensive experience in design techniques and tools as used in Software
Bachelor's degree qualifications or equivalent in Software or Computer Engineering
Experience in using Telerik components is an advantage
Experience in SCRUM master roles and experience in a working SDLC will be advantageous
Some knowledge and workign experience in relational databases (MySQL) and Non-relational DBs such as MongoDB.
Knowledge of design patterns including Singleton, MVVM, Event Driven, WinForms and WPF
Knowledge of Microservices and XML serialization
Superior written and verbal communication skills

Export role

• Prepare and execute Air Waybill, for perishables, general cargo, consolidated shipments, etc using Freight Master
• Prepare export documents (eg cargo acceptance checklist, cargo security certificate, indemnity letter etc) and airline labels
• Ensure all export cargo are properly marked and labelled prior to transfer to airlines
• Give instructions to Drivers/Cargo-hands on the transfer of cargo for export
• Declare Export Cargo Clearance Permit including Certificate of Origin (CO)

Job Overview

The HR Operations Executive is responsible for managing essential HR-related operational functions, including the employee database, personal lockers, uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), canteen, vending machines, gym, and company transport services. • Service Improvement: Collaborate with vendors to improve service standards and ensure employee satisfaction with the services provided.

3. Stock Monitoring and Replenishment

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of uniforms and PPE, ensuring timely replenishment to avoid shortages. Manage inventory efficiently to support operational needs.

4. Administrative Support and Budget Management

• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for HR facilities and vendor services, ensuring expenditures stay within approved limits.
• Reporting: Regularly report on budget status, highlighting variances and proposing corrective actions.
• Employee Support: Provide administrative support and respond to employee inquiries related to services such as transport, canteen, and other HR facilities.

5. Compliance and Safety

• Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) and risk management teams to ensure that HR facilities and services comply with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular inspections of HR facilities and services in collaboration with external vendors and internal HS&E stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years’ work experience
2. Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and GCP, including their data services and analytics offerings.
3. Strong coding skills with proficiency in:Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

   Python
   SQL
   
4. Deep understanding of big data technologies, distributed computing, and modern data architecture patterns. Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.

Duties

- Assist customers with daily cargo bookings and manage the administration of these bookings, including entering flight reservations into the system and issuing airway bills.

- Plan the daily flight load to optimize capacity and efficiency.

- Ensure the smooth uplift of shipments by tracking cargo movement, conducting warehouse checks, and overseeing operations at the tarmac.

- Address customer claims for missing or damaged cargo and handle any queries related to reservations. Provide timely follow-up with customers to resolve issues.
