Shall provide Data Centre (DC) operations at the Customer’s premises and premises identified by the Customer. The DC Operations shall cover the following:

1. DC Environment Support; and

2. DC Facilities Management Services.

DC Environment Support

Shall monitor the facilities infrastructure in the DC to ensure that they are within the operating levels defined by the Customers. The infrastructure to be monitored shall minimally include:

(a) Power infrastructure (such as Uninterrupted Power Supply and power distribution boards);

(b) Cooling Infrastructure (such as computer room air-conditioning units);

(c) Fire detection and suppression systems (such as FM200, water sprinklers, fire extinguishers);

(c) Shall ensure the network cabling in the data centre and within the racks are neat and tidy.

(d) Shall work with the Customer-appointed Supplier for both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, servicing, repair and upgrading works to the infrastructure at the Customer’s premises and premises identified by the Customer.

(e) Shall plan and coordinate the maintenance activities. This includes polling the affected parties, obtaining the Customer’s approval, and sending out messages to inform the affected party.

(f) Shall obtain the Customer’s approval before finalizing the plan for any activity.

(g) Shall provide on-site support during the maintenance activities unless otherwise agreed by the Customer.

(h) Shall maintain up-to-date documentation of the data centre design layouts.

(i) Shall manage the physical security of the data centre in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Customer.

(j) Shall monitor the following physical security infrastructure to ensure they are within the operating levels defined by the Customer:

· Security Alarm and Security Card Access System; and

· Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).

(k) Shall ensure that only authorised personnel are allowed to access the DCs.

· The Vendor shall ensure that all visitors to DCs are escorted during their activities on-site.

· The Vendor shall ensure that the visitors record their activities in the on-site log.

Requirement – DC Operations

Minimum Requirement:

The Vendor shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the data centre are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier. The DC Operator shall possess minimally the following skill sets:

(a) Minimum 1 year of working experience in Data Centre Engineer Operations experience;

(b) Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) or equivalent; and

(c) ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent

Oversee and supervise the entire operations of the manufacturing unit.
Prepare annual operating, capital expenditure budgets and periodical projections / updates
Manage day to day operations and maintenance of all front end/ back end facilities, M&E systems, equipment and appliances
Maintain proper inventory and maintenance record on building and M&E assets , systems, equipment and appliances

Constantly develop ways to improve and streamline the production process
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance programme
Lead and direct a team of technical personnel to carry out the daily maintenance duties and maintain the technical workshop
Liaise with consultants and contractors on building, M&E repairs and maintenance
Manage all third party contract services and ensure that the services delivered meet with all the internal and industry standards
Plan and execute energy saving programmes

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The main objective of this SiC RnD program is to advance 200mm SiC technologies in various areas, such as epitaxy, device design, process integration & fabrication, and power module packaging. The ultimate aim is to drive disruptive innovations in power device research, specifically focusing on >1.7KV power MOSFETs. These innovations will have significant applications in enhancing automotive technologies, vehicle electrification, safety measures, sustainable energy grids, data centers, and industrial & aerospace automation. Key aspects for this role to be successful include the development and integration of several process modules, such as gate oxidation, implantation, implant activation, layout design verification, lithography, and ohmic contact formation. We are actively looking for individuals with extensive industry experience in device physics and process integration to join our team. The candidate will contribute to process integration, E-test and module process related data analysis, yield enhancement, and device physics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead develop process technology for SiC power MOSFETs and ensure it meets the requirements for prototyping manufacturing
