About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Relationship Support Specialist (Bangaldesh coverage) to join our growing Singapore office.

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for providing customer service to a portfolio of bank customers, sharing leadership role with relationship managers.
• Primary servicing responsibility for Bangladesh customers but will cover other geographies subject to business requirement.
• Independently, proactively and effectively manage customer issues, monitors overdrafts, confirms additional source of funds and partners with office management in decision making process.
• Handle complex customer issues which include escalation and resolution.
• Evaluate profitability and risk of designated portfolio.; Monitor accounts, portfolios and loan bookings to assure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Communicates regulatory and company requirements, tracks compliance and reports/ escalates identified issues for resolution.
• Assist with customer onboarding, due diligence and other associated risk management matters where required.
• Act as the customers’ main point of contact for operational questions.
• Manages "owning the customer experience" approach and effectively executes on all standard protocols regarding interactions with customers.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Conducts customer courtesy calls, by phone, promote relationship building and a positive customer experience during customer interactions and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Provide the same standard of customer care to our internal team members, who may in turn be servicing Wells Fargo’s financial institution customers in various countries across the globe.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Business Relationship Support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Knowledge of Bangladesh (Bengali) language is required due to engagement with clients based in Bangladesh.
• Customer service experience in a bank providing international payments services to financial institution clients.
• Knowledge of Bangladesh market and financial institutions clients are essential.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

The incumbent will support the trust company in carrying out periodic reviews for private banking clients who have set up a trust structure for succession planning purposes

• Perform periodic reviews on trust client accounts in accordance with scheduled cycles pegged to risk ratings – AML requirement
• Review source of wealth background of clients, corroborate the declared net worth independently and assess supporting documentation (e.g. financial statements) in line with regulatory requirements
• Carry out name screening in accordance with bank standards. Conduct assessment on potential hits, follow compliance guidance and procedures.
• Complete the periodic review checklist, and assessment for trust relationship manager and team head sign-off
• Interact with front office to obtain documents
• Track due reviews and produce management reports as necessary
• Ensure client due diligence documents (Eg. passports, address proof, certificates of incumbency etc.) are up to date and accurately recorded
• Ensure outstanding matters are attended to or, if not, escalated accordingly.
• Ensure that Compliance approval is obtained where required.
• Review the permanent file to ensure good order and completeness.
• Assist with other departmental projects and tasks as necessary

Requirements:

• Min Degree/Diploma holders with 3 to 5 years in banking/financial industry, experience in KYC/AML/Compliance/Risk, knowledge of anti-money laundering procedures will be an advantage

• Organised, detailed and with good risk awareness

Details of the Division and Team:

Technology Operations is responsible for the technical infrastructure required to supply IT services to the bank. Work includes:

• Overseeing strategy, design, development, and deployment of IT solutions
• Improving or developing new products, components, equipment, systems, technologies, or processes
• Ensuring that research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standards
• Assisting with formulating business plans and budgets for product development
• Analyzing quality/safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
• Keeping abreast of new developments in the industry and translating those developments into new and viable options for the organization and clients
• Organizing technical presentations to clients and/or industry groups
• Monitoring product development outcomes to ensure technical, functional, cost, and timing targets are met

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide BAU support during APAC hrs.
• Built Oracle cloud@customer platform for Migration
• Migrating database from On-prem to Oracle cloud@customer.
• Automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participates in the continuous improvement of Oracle cloud solutions.
• Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud Oracle cloud platform
• Participate in the specification, setup and run Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of Oracle cloud solutions.
• Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms
• Support Exadata & non-Exadata patching activities.
• Troubleshoot performance issue and apply permanent fix.
• Restore & recover database on-demand basis.
• Oracle database upgrade to 19c.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience as Oracle DBA within the IT support industry or financial industry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting Oracle Exadata and Exadata cloud@customer platform in a mid-size to large production support environment.
• OCM or equivalent proficiency
• Strong experience in Oracle cloud and tooling.
• Strong experience with Oracle 11g R2/12c RAC including build, administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure) \ CRS management and configuration
• Hands-on experience in Oracle ASM and Dataguard administration
• Extensive hands-on experience managing and maintaining Exadata machines. Solid exposure to Exadata hardware with a good understanding of compute nodes, storage cells, Infiniband switches maintenance, support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Exadata Quarterly Patching, software, and firmware upgrades.
• Experience managing Oracle ZFS appliance, including managing shares, pools.
• Good understanding of the governance required to retain production availability (including checks, patching, capacity management, security, managing internal and external audits)
• Expertise in SQL & Database level performance tuning
• Strong experience in backup, recovery (including flashback technologies) and migration using RMAN, datapump and export\ import processes.
• Knowledge of database scripting and automation technologies
• Experience with management of databases using Enterprise manager Grid Control
• Experience with utilizing workflow and management tools.
• Ability to apply technical principles when performing troubleshooting.
• Solid technical fluency with tools and systems
• Knowledge of server concepts & architectures
• Knowledge of network and firewall concepts & architectures
• Knowledge of enterprise storage concepts & architectures
• Knowledge of ITIL framework
