· General administrative duties including to provide full spectrum of administrative support to the Director/Manager

MIN. 1 YEAR LOCAL EXPERIENCES. GRADUATED FROM A UNIVERSITY THAT IS RECOGNISED BY EXPERIENCED WITH ARCHICAD & PHOTOSHOP SOFTWARE.

· Reports to the management.

· Perform day-to-day office adminstration work.

· Prepare reports such as attendance, overtime, expenses claim etc to management.

· Prepare customized CIPL to origin countries for export to Singapore.

· Work closely with Management, Sales, Operations, and overseas counterparts on the smooth execution of customer's orders.

Job Description

• Assisting the Cook with the preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping vegetables, fruit, poultry, and meat.
• Washing, Chopping, Shredding and Grating ingredients
• Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
• Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
• Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the Cook's instructions.
• Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies. Organizing and correctly storing food supplies.
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floor and other kitchen tools area

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of proven experience assisting in kitchens.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Good team spirit, effective communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, eve of public holidays and public holidays.

Scope of Work

• Procurement – procurement of adhoc small value items, including stationery, food catering, bus bookings.

• Student administration – Help to process applications for financial assistance and related schemes for students from low-income families.

• Finance matters – Follow up with parents on outstanding bills on a monthly basis.

• Staff matters – Update leave and medical leave on the staff movement board. • Record keeping – e.g. utilities and telecommuniations monthly usage, photocopy monthly usage, maintain list of expiry dates of contracts and agreements.

• Attend to walk-in visitors (parents, vendors, etc) and students requiring assistance at the General Office.

• Attend to sick and injured students

• Answering telephone calls and directing the calls to relevant staff.

• Attend to incoming parcels and school emails

• Any other duties as and when assigned by the school.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or its equivalent, in the English medium.

• Good communication skills in English, and preferably be conversant in Mandarin.

• Able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude even when under stress.

• A pleasant personality and a team player with good interpersonal skills.

• An independent worker with initiative.

• Has an eye for details, and has good organisation and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Word and Excel.

Candidate with relevant experience in school financial administration will be preferred.
