JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent must have the competency to perform the following HR activities independently with minimum supervision:
ā¢ Manage recruitment and selection activities.
ā¢ Manage employment and cessation activities.
ā¢ Administer onboarding activities.
ā¢ Manage training and development activities.
ā¢ Process payroll and overtime payment.
ā¢ Administer compensation, benefits, and welfare programs.
ā¢ Administer discipline and compliance policy.
ā¢ Maintain personnel records and HR information systems.
ā¢ Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and work instructions.
ā¢ Assist in performance evaluation exercise.
ā¢ Assist in HR planning and budget exercise.
ā¢ Participate in safety and recreation committee.
ā¢ Assist in collective agreement negotiation with Union.
ā¢ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports.
ā¢ Manage HR services for foreign workers from China and Malaysia.
REQUIREMENTS
ā¢ Degree in human resource management
ā¢ Hands-on HR generalist experience
ā¢ At least 5 years of working experience in a hi-tech manufacturing environment
ā¢ Intermediate competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Words, Excel, and PowerPoint
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
ā¢ Prepared to work occasional overtime to meet payroll and project deadline
ā¢ Meticulous, organized, systematic, and creative problem-solver
ā¢ A team player and individual contributor
ā¢ Positive personality with āCan Doā attitude
ā¢ Working experience with human resource information systems such as TimesPay.
