The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop, inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies.

CTP will generate knowledge and innovation across disciplines including climate and Earth science, ecology, materials science, artificial intelligence, humanities, social sciences and the arts, finance, health, and engineering. It will also translate state-of-the-art scientific results into real world solutions for Singapore, and it will transfer these solutions to Southeast Asia (SEA) and beyond.

As part of this programme, the Community Engagement office of the Earth Observatory of Singapore will work across the different research clusters and cross cutting themes to promote the programme and work with communities so they can benefit from its findings and activities.

The Project Officer (Communications and Engagement, Climate Transformation Programme) will be based at the Earth Observatory of Singapore at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The incumbent will be part of the EOS Community Engagement office and will work closely with researchers of the CTP.

The Project Officer will create content that engages a broad audience about the research and activities conducted by the CTP, and will communicate the findings and impacts with a range of stakeholders. The incumbent will also help develop and coordinate engagement opportunities that educate stakeholders of the programme about climate change, inspire actions, and contribute to building a community of problem solvers to address climate change.
