Job Summary
Manage the company’s corporate and internal communications, branding and corporate social responsibilities portfolios.
For corporate communications, your main responsibilities include formulating internal and external communications strategies, developing relevant communications materials, managing both traditional and digital communication channels and organizing large scale corporate events and campaigns. You should also effectively liaise with government officials to achieve desired outcomes.
For internal communications, your main responsibilities include translating corporate topics into a comprehensive communication strategy, driving understanding of key strategic initiatives, establishing organisational messages and engaging employees and tracking communication efforts.
Job Responsibilities
Corporate Communications
1. Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communications strategies to promote the company’s brand, mission and values, including crisis and reputation management.
2. Establish and formalize communications policies and procedures, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.
3. Manage the company’s public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases and proactive outreach.
4. Engage with internal and external sstakeholders, including ggovernment authorities, business leaders and customers to build and maintain positive relationships.
5. Enhance the company’s brand identity through consistent messaging across all platforms and communication channels.
6. Track and evaluate the effectiveness of communications strategies and initiatives, providing reports to management as appropriate.
7. Liaise effectively with government entities and manage governmental processes (such as obtaining permits, securing funding) so as to build strategic partnerships and advocate organization’s goals.
Internal Communications & CSR
8. Develop and drive employee communications for Nippon Paint Singapore
9. Continuously create new and improved communication methods for the company.
10. Translate key corporate topics into an effective communication strategy for implementation
11. Proactively engage with all employees and represent the company In corporate communication and related events.
12. Plan and execute dynamic volunteering events and special projects for various social causes under the Nippon Paint ESG program.
Requirements
· Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
· Preferably with a minimum of 8 years of work experience in corporate communications in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
· Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
· Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Hands on with a willingness to manage execution details in addition to strategy development.
· Fast in digital trends and tools.
