You will be part of the Managed Services team. Your responsibilities include technical administration, maintenance and troubleshooting. You are expected to work with our client to ensure IT Support Services are delivered based on agreed service level definition, much to the satisfaction of both customers & company. Managing customer’s expectation is part of your job scope, which required of you to work closely with external & internal project team members. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shall perform the following administration activities for storage and automate them to the extent possible:
• Storage Area Network
• Provide Installation, administration and maintenance support for Storage Area Networkand Enterprise Backup.
• Health check and monitoring of the storage devices.
• Integrate the storage solution’s hardware and software into the customer’s operatingenvironment and ensure full interoperability.
• Regularly update the firmware.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum requirements the resource(s) personnel assigned must be a certified Storage (SAN) and/or Backup Administrator in administration and troubleshooting, in a 24×7 enterprise setting (inclusive of manual discovery or post actions from automatic alerts).
• He/she is/are expected to cover level 1 and level 2 storage related problems and must be an experienced administrator in the following technologies:
• Good knowledge of EMC, Hitachi, and Huawei storage systems
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure support is required forthis position

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Coordinate with the main contractor and consultant and monitor work progress and schedule

•

Liaison with sub-contractors and suppliers, preparation of all project costs, process project claims, and monitor project budgets

•

Attend site meetings and conduct site inspections

•

Monitor daily work activities of the various subcontractors to ensure proper adherence to job site safety policies and procedures.

•

Monitor and inspect work progress for quality control and quality assurance; identify and resolve problem issues in a timely manner.

•

Work closely with the team to fulfil all requirements and expectations during testing and commissioning with a consultant.

Proper upkeeping of documents & uploading them into the server.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission environmental testing equipment such as climate chambers, temperature control systems, and other specialized Weiss Technik products at customer sites.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on Weiss Technik equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Calibration Evaluation: Perform calibration on Weiss Technik products according to ISO requirements.
• Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, diagnosing issues and offering solutions to operational challenges.
• Customer Training: Conduct technical training sessions for clients to ensure correct operation and maintenance of Weiss Technik products.
• Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring that service reports are submitted in a timely manner.
• Management Tools Management: To maintain and manage all tools, test equipment, parts, and assets.
• Product Testing & Validation: Assist with testing equipment functionality and performance to meet required specifications, as well as validate system installations.
• Spare Parts Management: Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure availability of critical components for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company and regulatory safety standards during installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with Weiss Technik's latest products and industry trends to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field) with HVAC certification is a plus.
• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or repair, preferably in the environmental simulation or testing industry.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical processes.
• IT competency in Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive and Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with PLCs and control systems is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, inquisitive mindset, ability to analyse data and solve complex problems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and collaboration with internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service tasks.
• Willingness to travel locally to customer sites.
• Posses Class 3 license - own car is an added advantage
