About Our Client

My client is a global manufacturer of blast equipment and spray equipment. We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The Channel Development Manager will be responsible for bringing in new channel partners to grow the business, and managing a team of distributors, who sell their blast equipment and spray equipment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the sales of industrial equipment/component, with a proven track record of success in managing channel partners across APAC.

Job Description

• Manage the current B2C and B2B business models in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Develop a new B2B business model for Coating Equipment in Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei and Indo-China countries.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with coatings material producers in the Automotive, Wood Finish, Industrial Finish, Marine and Protective Coatings market sectors.
• Introduce new products to new markets through strategic partners and direct sales.
• Attain quarterly sales quotas.
• Seek out and develop long-term distributors.
• Set and agree on annual distributor business agreements.
• Manage distributor contracts and planning through regular meetings.
• Execute the company's global sales and marketing programs.
