General Description

Our client, a top provider of primary and secondary test equipment for electric power systems, is seeking a Sales and Application Engineer. This position will focus on facilitating technical sales and offering technical assistance for products and their applications to customers across Asia. The role is based in the their Service Center in Singapore and will report to the Country Manager.

Your responsibilities

• This role entails driving sales and expanding the business for our client's solutions across South East Asia, with a strong emphasis on Singapore and Brunei.
• The candidate will provide technical support and application guidance for our solutions across a variety of power system applications, including protection relays, power transformers, instrument transformers, switchgear, rotating machines, and ancillary equipment.
• The individual will contribute ideas from service experiences with customers to enhance our products and foster innovative solutions, translating market needs into technical specifications. Your profile

• 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience
• You have good knowledge of power system substations, generation, transmission and distribution of electric power
• Having knowledge of protection, automation and control systems and experiences with electrical diagnostic tests of high voltage apparatus would be added advantages
• Experience in sales and/ or dealing with customers
• Your proficiency in English is outstanding; additional language skills would be advantageous.
