As a Software Engineer in Thales Embedded Product Development Team in ECC, you will participate in the design, implementation, validation and deployment of Embedded Products for major OEM customers.

A week in the life of an Embedded Software Engineer:

• Develop, validate and deploy new software components (for example advance software security mechanism and next generation IoT connectivity protocols) for embedded operating systems targeted for mobile and IoT devices, in applications such as mobile payment, digital identity and IoT connectivity.
• Participate to the development of next generation operating systems for future devices.
• Being in agile development environment to work closely within team and multiple teams around the world to build great products exceeding customer expectations

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute impactful through-the-line marketing and communication plans to deliver strong and measurable earned and paid media, both online and offline

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be a key member in the Industrial Engineering team that is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process and ensuring that it is optimized to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role will support the team in analysing and optimising warehouse automated systems to improve warehouse operations efficiency and capacity, as well as handle related continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, improve the process and systems within the supply chain, in a way that fosters collaboration, communication and continuous improvement to optimize the entire supply chain process.
• To articulate practical recommendations for business requirementsand demonstrating an ability to address pain points & issues.
• Engage and partner with key stakeholders and operators on automation projects to ensure successful implementations by understanding stakeholders requirements and vendor capabilities.
• Utilise industrial engineering principles to develop and implement best practices for warehouse operations optimisation.
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the warehouse processes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Automation or any other related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in industrial engineering, preferably in warehouse or distribution center setting
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Prior hands-on experience in modelling/simulation tool is desirable.
• Experience with time studies, methods/work study and/or other performance analysis methodologies.

• Work as a team to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on USVs, including hull, mechanical, and electrical systems, ensuring fleet availability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues and execute timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Responsible for ship maintenance, repair work, costing and reports
• Coordinate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities without impacting mission schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors when required
• Coordinate with customer on issues pertaining to maintenance tasks
• Any other tasks as directed by the Ops Manager or Department Manager

Academic Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Ship Repair Manager or similar role, with a strong mechanical background in maritime environments.
• Possess Supervise Safety Instruction for Ship Repair Manager Certificate
• Solid understanding of the operation and maintenance of maritime vessels, with a preference for experience in unmanned systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
