The Production Planning Engineer role is key for completion of each airframe maintenance project. Within this role you are directly supporting the production team and enabling them to efficiently perform their work according to our and various national quality standards.

The Production Planning Engineer is a key point of contact for our customers and ensures provision of accurate and frequent information to FSA’s customers in a timely matter.

As a Production Planning Engineer, you will also work in close collaboration with the engineers, sales force as well as the daily operational management team.

As a result, you are a core contributor to the effective and efficient completion of each heavy maintenance check.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

As a Production Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning activities before and during a heavy maintenance check. These responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Generation of material request in our ERP system
• Analysing the projects outstanding work and providing project status reports
• Monitoring and controlling the task card flow, both the physical as well as the digital flow
• Handling outside service requests
• Composition and control of project plans
• Preparation of final reports
• Liaison with technical support departments of the OEMs
• Facilitation of daily progress meetings
• Attend meetings with customer to provide latest project update
• Work and support production department continuously on requirement of additional material and other project information
• Participation in lean projects
• Responding on customer requests
• Coordination of aircraft parts robbing process
• Correctly archiving of the project documentation

You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Key Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot and repair complex PLC systems in the machine.

Requisite Criteria & Skills

· Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with 1-year experience.

· Coordinate projects with different vendor and clients to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

· Able to generate additional sales and get new customer for the business.

· Good in troubleshooting and repair of PLC assemblies. Knowledge in electrical PLC circuits and PLC programming.

· Able to work independently and adapt to a dynamic working environment.

· Need to travel within the Singapore.

1. To support and coordinate design and manufacture projects.

2. To prepare production drawings by drafting or 3D modelling using CAD software.

3. To carry out process planning using ERP.

4. To liaise with the Engineering team on the preparation of BOM list.

6. To use engineering tools to test and implement efficiencies in quality, manufacturing, assembly and testing.

7. To provide engineered technical solutions to achieve improvement objectives.

8. To provide customer support/liaise/coordinate/follow-up with external customers on assigned projects.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline. Both diploma and ITE holders with relevant working experience may also apply.

2. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and carry out drafting or 3D modelling work.

3. Possesses good knowledge of machining processes and technologies.

4. Possesses good project management and coordination skills.

5. Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, NX and GD&T.

6. Mature, organized, meticulous, task-oriented and able to handle tasks independently. Must be a team player.

7. Good communications skills.

8. Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.

9. Experience with CNC machining and machine measurement will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

· Plan equipment, material, and manpower requirements to execute job orders

· Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion

· Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications

· Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution

· Analyse back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations
- Work with Estimation, Purchasing and Production teams in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime

· Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives

Requirements:

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role would be ideal

· Well verse in both manual and CNC machining

· Excellent knowledge in fabrication, aircraft jigs & fixtures, mechanical assembly, and aircraft maintenance tooling

· Knowledge of MRP systems is essential

· Able to read and understand technical drawings

· Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure

Gold Star Aviation is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for Private Jet – BBJ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, prepare and issue all maintenance work packages, and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed and recorded as maintenance records.
• Request quotation from MRO for schedule/unscheduled tasks, and follow up with maintenance performed by MRO and ensure all tasks are performed I.A.W. regulatory requirement and ensure quoted man hours are justified.
• Conduct audits of completed paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate and liaise with service providers for long and short term maintenance planning and support.

Requirements:

• Applicant must hold either FAA A&P Mechanic License, CAAS or EASA.

• Have worked on B737NG aircraft for minimum of 5 years.
• Has been certifying maintenance tasks for minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge of T7 regulations and industry standards.
• Post-Secondary education in Engineering or related discipline
• Able to use MYBOEING FLEET to access manuals.
• Able to do minor maintenance tasks, before/after flight checks, NAV DATA updates and provide certificate of release to service.
• Based in Singapore and need to travel occasionally as an on-board engineer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
