As the Facility & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operation, maintenance and projects within our electricity generating plants, ensuring compliance with local regulatory policies. In addition, you will be involved in the development of a Facilities Asset Management Plan, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules & activities.

Purpose of Position

Principle Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and engineering of all process control systems which may be installed in the plant or externally at customers' site.

We are seeking an individual with QA/QC experience in the civil, structural, and architectural ("CSA") trades for the position of a QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to civil, structural, and architectural items. At times and, when necessary, the QA/QC CSA engineer will fill in for the QA/QC Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineers.

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed and organized individual with extensive previous experience working as a QA/QC on large, international projects with deep knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural systems. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work understanding and implementing the VDC QA/QC systems. The candidate must have excellent leadership and Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte.
