Job Description

• You will be working closely with Departments to manage reports and coordinate internal work
• Provide office support and ensure smooth information flow and communication among various internal and external stakeholders
• Generate detailed reports and data
• Outreach to vendors for business procurement related matters
• Forecast business related budgeting and costings
• Conduct relevant audits and reports tracking
• In charge of General Administrative duties and office maintenance matters

Requirements

• Help define the technology roadmap and standards for database technologies covering traditional RDBMSs as well as modern NoSQL / specialized databases
• Implement and maintain full operational lifecycle procedures from deployment to maintenance/patching, backup/recovery, and deco mm using extensive automation
• Provide 24x7 operational support of database systems with responsibility for uptime, overall system performance, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements to avoid recurrence
• Perform security compliance activities, e.g. security reviews, implementing security controls, logging, etc.
• Provide end-to-end support and advisory including support required by application developers
• Any relevant ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Information Technology or related fields with good experience in multiple data or database-centric roles
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong understanding of database concepts covering primary MySQL and secondary Microsoft SQL servers.
• Experience is required in the following areas: Strong understanding of operational processes and automation
  Shell scripting, ideally using Python
  Performance, capacity planning and database/query tuning.
• The ideal candidate will have:Experience working with Continuous Integration and Delivery and how it impacts persistent data tiers
  Experience working with other infrastructure teams / technologies
  Demonstrable experience supporting critical database infrastructure
• Strong logical and analytical skills with the proven ability to learn new subjects quickly

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1.Analyse, update data, verify and process pay transactions to ensure payment accuracy and timeliness.

2.Analyse doubtful pay transactions, diagnose problems and determine follow-up actions to resolve/pre-empt potential problems.

3.Highlight/recommend improvements and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

4.Handle customers’ queries, disputes, appeals, feedback promptly in a professional manner to achieve positive customer experience.

EXPERIENCE

• 1 to 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with knowledge of SAP Payroll.
