As a Procurement Manager, you will be supporting Procurement Head driving the site procurement strategy in the right direction. Key accountabilities include ensuring procurement compliances are adhered on site from both process and system standpoint as well as achieving reliable and sustainable supply of goods, materials, and services with well-managed supplier management structure.

Job Responsibility

Manage all sourcing activities and commercial negotiation on MTO site requirements.

• Creating business values through prompt, compliant and commercially advantageous procurement intervention to ensure internal stakeholders’ satisfaction. Lead, initiate and drive strategic procurement plans partnering with key stakeholders.
• Initiating procurement strategic sourcing plans for all direct materials and being able to communicate and work closely together with internal stakeholder to ensure prompt initiative implementation and closure.
• Drives alternate sourcing activities and commercial discussion for key materials from both BCM and cost perspectives, while maintaining close collaboration with internal stakeholders in the process.
• Lead commercial negotiation, project implementation for major CAPEX spending across MTO, and bringing to fruition the complete contract execution.
• Identify and initiative continuous improvement opportunities and work as part of cross functional teams to deliver and achieve savings targets, while driving positive PPV that has direct contribution to site TPC targets.

Procurement Compliance

• Accountable to ensure compliance while executing all of procurement activities on site.
• Responsible to drive adherence of site procurement processes to Alcon global procurement policies and procedures.
• Supports internal and external audits where necessary, on procurement related accountabilities.

Supplier Management

• Lead and drive vendor performance cross-functionally and spearheading continuous optimization efforts with strategic and/or critical suppliers as identified.

Contract Management

• Responsible for overall suppliers’ contract management including negotiation of new contracts, renewal of expiring required contracts and ensure full compliance in contract execution.

Procurement Systems & Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate purposeful reporting and site-wide communication of various procurement indices (e.g., aging PO, procurement non-conformance etc.), to be effectively communicated both at working (site-wide) and senior management level.
• Monitoring market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing and provide resolutions to the site with detail impact analysis.
• Supports the team in site-implementation of any new global procurement systems and/or related tools, as needed.

Who are you?

• Bachelor or equivalent qualification as minimum is preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience gained from cross functional environment in procurement field, preferably with direct exposure within a manufacturing technical operation (MTO) environment.
• Familiarization with SAP and Ariba is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal language skills in English (must) and Mandarin (preferred)
• Strong MS office skills (Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Set-up, maintain and update project employees’ files to ensure all data are up to date
• Prepare, coordinate, and conduct on-boarding and off-boarding for project employees
• Attend to project employees’ queries and provide HR assistance (benefits administration,
• timesheet management, claims and other HR matters)
• Maintain and enforce good documentation practise across the team, implement new
• procedures and workflows
• Perform data reconciliation, trend analysis and produce analytic and progress reports in

• Collate project employees’ performance feedback from client
• Assist the team with ad-hoc operational priorities as and when required e.g., coordination of

Requirements:

• Nitec in any disciplines
• Good knowledge of documentation practice and project management
• Strong communication and written skills
• Familiar with Microsoft and Data Analytics Tool. Working knowledge with
• SharePoint a big plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the company operational Purchasing and Procurement to optimize resources and ensure customers’ supply chain is able to fulfill customers’ ship-to-dates.
• Responsible in understanding customers’ requirements and passionately drive internal procurement processes and customer’s global supply chain to exceed internal and external customer expectations
• Responsible for driving the strategic initiatives to improve overall efficiency and profitability of the company

Procurement Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• The Procurement Officer reports to the procurement supervisor and assists in all documentation and coordination of project matters.
• Ensure proper documentation of all projects related matters.
• To work closely with General Manager to ensure proper documentation of materials control.
• Assist in the procurement of suppliers of specified materials.
• Help the project’s bottom line by rigorously monitoring and implementing cost controls.
• Establish a good relationship with Clients and Suppliers to ensure that the project is smoothly managed in terms of resources and timeline.
