Responsibilites

1. Account Management to interact with Divisions to:

• Address queries related to procurement-related policies, procedures and facilitate troubleshooting of system errors.
• Review and ensure compliance in procurement transactions (POs, Waivers, Contracts raised, new vendor creation/re-activation, etc.) executed. To follow-up on enquires/clarifications (as needed).
• Facilitate follow-ups in retrieval of supporting documents from multiple parties (e.g. vendors for SD collection, supporting documents for new vendor creation/re-activation, etc.).

2. Ensure training and support is provided to users in eProcurement System.

3. User-acceptance testing for system enhancements (as required).

4. Other administrative duties, scanning/filing and ad-hoc task/projects assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma
• 2 - 3 years of related Procurement & Account Management Experience. Entry level candidate with relevant attachment experience will be considered
• Familiarity in using SAP Procurement Modules will be advantageous.

Procurement Specialist (Contract)

You will be responsible for the procurement of spares/parts, supplies and services for the maintenance and operation of the power plant and its facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with plant engineers and personnel from the maintenance / operations / facilities teams on the requirements of the materials / services based on stipulated technical specifications and scope of work descriptions.
• Perform sourcing activities from both local and overseas vendors.
• Prepare and send out RFQs to the relevant suppliers/vendors and monitor their submissions.
• Conduct supplier evaluation and manage selection processes to ensure submissions are in line with the technical and commercial specifications.
• Expedite the delivery of the order and communicate with the internal stakeholders for any changes to the order as needed.
• Resolve supply, quality, and service invoicing issues with vendors and ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions.
• Undertake procurement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Control & Instrumentation or equivalent.
• Technical procurement experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge and evaluation writing skills.
• Excellent planning, organising, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite especially Excel. SAP experience will be a plus.

As a Procurement Intern, you are to drive innovation thru automation within procurement process. Ideally, candidate should strong logical process flow, with know-hows on macro programming. Candidate should have strong interest on driving process excellence in our Tuas site. Strong in Microsoft and/or open coding knowledge. In this role, a typical day will include:

· Automate data-extraction and/or analysis for site spend review(s)

· Automated existing routine reports such as

o PO Aging report (to identify the at-risk orders that are “aged” beyond the expected service/goods delivery time

o PPV (Purchasing Price Variance) (to measure on periodic basis, the variance of what we are purchasing against what we project to purchase at)

o Periodic extraction of latest approved vendor to place it on Cloud

o Periodic update of procurement into a standard template which then be further uploaded into global system (SNOW – Service NOW system)

· Supplier Onboarding process: Automate site supplier onboarding form, subsequently process to include direct link/follow-up with global system

· Create / Manage / Automate portal for procurement information for site

· Harmonize site sourcing efforts in a synchronized process which would also tie in to cost impact analysis (savings and/or cost increase). May include step automation

· Build fraud-detection possibility (based on procurement process guard rails) of at-risk orders that requires manual oversight and/or review
