Main Job Role:
· Analyse, compile and define market requirements concerning trends, consumers, competitors and distributions
· Decide together with sales team on product assortment, price positioning and target cost
· Define and ensure local implementations of local product strategy
· Life cycle management, maintenance of current product portfolio, aligned with local strategy
· Product testing on functionality
· Coordinate all relevant product certifications and requirement in compliance with local authority
· Define local product strategy and contribute in long term planning in line with group direction
· Support executive communication within marketing and to other cross-functional teams
· Be part of the rollout of new products from planning to execution align with product and brand strategy
· Consolidate monthly marketing reporting for management base on product portfolio
· Market intelligence – feedback on competitors’ activities and new trends
· To initiate POS materials/display requirements/demo videos/infographics etc development for marketing activities with marketing & digital dept
· Any other assignments by immediate superior
Skills & Qualifications:
· Preferably Bachelors in Marketing, Communications or similar field
· Experience as a marketer or in product marketing for min of 3 years or FMCG related industry, both B2B or B2C related experience preferred
· Proficient in using MS office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
· Creative thinking with sharp analytical skills and possess problem-solving skills
· Can work under pressure and with tight deadlines
· Not hesitant to be hands on and doing operational work as and when needed
· Candidate should possess initiatives, accountability and a high degree of independence
· Good presentation skills
· Effective communication skills both verbal and written
· Ability to work in a fast pace and multitasking environment
· Team player with the ability to influence cross-functional partners
