About the role

The COB & CM (Crisis Management) Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. In this role, you’re expected to:

• The COB & CM Senior Lead Analyst develops and manages security and or COB solutions for a line of business.
• Identifies and utilizes a global risk management model by analyzing emerging security and or COB threats and potential impacts to the business.
• Defines solutions to mitigate business exposure by leveraging expert analytical and technical skills.
• Advises and provides direction to senior business and IT leaders on risk management decisions.
• Subject matter expert in one or more security and or COB technology and policy disciplines.
• Resolves the highest impact, highest profile problems projects with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
• Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IS COB & Controls.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day functions in support of crisis management program activities, across multiple locations and jurisdictions in assigned geography and in support globally where Citi has a business presence/operations
• Support and ensure Crisis Management Plans and other required components are maintained across assigned geography, in support of global CM Execution program and in accordance with Citi’s Crisis Management Framework

• Support the crisis management team and crisis commander during crisis events, to ensure Citi's Crisis Management Framework is executed.

• Ensure consistency of crisis responses, coordination and communication (including dissemination of critical decision-making information) through adherence to the CM framework

• Review post-Crisis actions and evaluate performance and processes to determine how well the Crisis Management Plan was executed and update the methodology and crisis process where possible
