SAP Business One Consultant (Japanese Accounts)

As part of the SAP B1 Team, responsible for pre-sales activities, full cycle project implementation, as well as support and enhancement projects for Japanese customers.

Job Description:

• Evaluate clients’ current business processes and make recommendations to resolve business problems
• Conduct user requirement gathering and develop function design specifications in alignment with new business requirements
• Perform system configuration and documentation, prepare unit testing script and carry out user-acceptance testing
• Provide post-live support and conduct end-user training
• Work closely with business users and ensure good rapport with clients

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology/ Management, Computer Science, or Business (Accounting)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as SAP Business One Functional Consultant in a Consulting environment
• Professionals with Accounting, IT, or other ERP solution experience who are keen on a career in SAP consulting may apply
• Proven track record in at least 3 full-cycle project implementations for SAP Business One
• Having good knowledge of SAP HANA will be an advantage
• As the Consultant for Japanese customers and accounts, strong Japanese fluency in business and technical communications are essential
• Skilled communicator with the ability to exchange complex information effectively with customers, analyse problems, and provide clear recommendations
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and their priorities
• Good team player, self-motivated, with a positive attitude

Job Introduction

A vacancy has arisen for a Pre-Sales Consultant in Singapore, providing pre and post-sales support to clients.

The role is based in Singapore and is focused on supporting clients across a broad range of products, working with our sales team directly to develop and deepen relationships with existing and new customers. You will be responsible for promoting and supporting the full range of SIX Financial Information’s services.

What You Will Do

• Support the Pre and Post Sales activities for a range of Reference and Real-Time Data Products, Display Terminals and a range of SIX data solutions for the global tax and regulatory environment.
• Lead client engagement discussions and formulate client input into Data and Product Development, including presenting and supporting client projects from inception to implementation.
• Build strong relationships with prospects, existing clients and internal stakeholders using your soft sales skills.
• Engage in product demonstrations and building proof of concepts.
• Take part in proposal process and scoping of responses for RFI and RFPs.

What You Bring

• Candidates should have a background in the use and/or support of data services into financial institutions, ideally in a pricing and reference data environment either through a similar role elsewhere or by working at a client.
• Excellent client facing communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Mandarin is a plus.
• Clear understanding of all asset classes especially Equity, Fixed Income, Indices, Funds and Futures & Options and a good understanding of Corporate Actions.
• Financial industry experience with an understanding of Buy Side and Sell Side data requirements. Knowledge of Asset Servicing, Asset Management, Private Banking and Enterprise Data Management is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines in a matrix environment liaising with many internal stakeholders

• Achieve personal and group targeted KPIs
• Daily duty activities including upkeep outlet’s cleanliness, answer phone calls and equipment maintenance
• Regular scalp check for customers
• Provide consultation and recommend suitable treatments for the customer
• Exercise full treatment compliance
• Provide after sales & after treatment follow up with customers
• Provide onsite training to junior/new hired consultant
• Training will be provided

The Opportunity:

We are looking for experienced individuals to join our delivery team to support the entire life-cycle management of SAP projects - from presales to implementation, from process design to training and post-live support.

As the SAP PP Consultant, you will be working together with an international team of SAP experts, to implement SAP ERP solutions to clients in Singapore and abroad. You will work closely with our team in Singapore, Malaysia, and potentially Japan to assist clients in the deployment of SAP S/4HANA.

• Participate and be responsible for your area of expertise in full cycle project implementation, as well as support and enhancement projects

These are your qualifications:

• Full-life cycle project experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA
• In-depth configuration know-how in your respective area of expertise (SAP PP)
• Ability to understand business requirements, identify solutions and communicate best business practices to clients in efforts to minimize modifications and customizations of the Software
• Excellent presentation and communications skills to interact successfully with Key Users and Senior Management of multi-national customers.
• Good business know-how and solid understanding of Supply Chain and Production Planning Issues
• Strong knowledge in Product Costing, Materials and Orders Planning and Scheduling
• Minimum of 4 years SAP ERP / ECC / S/4HANA experience in implementing and supporting customers over multiple projects
• Relevant SAP Certification is an advantage
