You will play an important role in supporting trade functions by handling a full set of shipping (import and export) documents and managing a spectrum of shipment operations matters.
Responsibilities and Duties
â–Ş Prepare and handle import and export documents, such as bill of lading, letter of credit, invoices, arrival notice, and certificate of origin.
â–Ş Track status of and coordinate shipment.
â–Ş Calculate laytime, demurrage and dispatch claims.
â–Ş Work closely with the China Office on shipment matters. Ability to converse fluently in Mandarin and read and write Chinese is essential.
â–Ş Assist to prepare and arrange for signing of sales and purchase contract documents.
â–Ş Assist to monitor and follow up on payments and receivables.
