Job Scope

• Proper and timely accounting transactions in accounting system including processing of AP/AR, receipts and accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly journals, schedules, accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliation.
• Assist in issuing Purchase Order
• Assist in month-end closing.
• Ensure accounting records are prepared in accordance to FRS and all statutory requirements.
• Assist in quarterly GST submission.
• Assist in year-end audit and tax.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax agent.
• Other ad-hoc projects when assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy/ ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 year's working experience in related field.
• Ability to commence work in short notice.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SAP accounting software
• Able to work independently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage all transportation processes including incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare and arrange of import, export and LCL shipment documentations and custom clearance.
• Update and maintain warehouse inventories to ensure accurate inventory management of Goods in the warehouse.
• Work closely with Warehouse to ensure all services rendered to customer are captured for billing on time and accurately.
• Prepare and maintain accurate invoices to customers with an agreed billing agreement.
• Assist operation and administrative duties.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE “O” level or equivalent
• Prior experience in customer service or a related role is preferred
• Display empathy and patience when dealing with customers
• Good telephone etiquette and communication skills
• Positive attitude, multi-tasker and a team-oriented mindset working with minimal supervision is essential
