Nature of Scope

4. Health & Safety Compliance

Ensure the factory complies with occupational health and safety regulations (OSHA or local standards).

Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards in the production environment.

Ensure workers are equipped with the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and are trained in proper safety protocols.

Respond promptly to any accidents, incidents, or safety violations.

5. Inventory & Materials Management

Ensure that sufficient raw materials, packaging, and other production supplies are available for the manufacturing process.

Work closely with the inventory and procurement teams to manage stock levels, avoid shortages, and reduce waste.

Oversee the storage and handling of raw materials and finished goods in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.

6. Process Optimization & Efficiency Improvement

Analyze and identify opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Lead initiatives for cost reduction and production optimization without compromising quality.

Utilize lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma, to streamline operations.

7. Maintenance & Equipment Management

Ensure all production machinery and equipment are properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule regular inspections and preventive maintenance.

Address any machine breakdowns or operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.

8. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulatory standards related to manufacturing supplements (e.g., FDA guidelines for dietary supplements, GMP certification, etc.).

Maintain and review production records, batch logs, and other documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.

Oversee the labeling of products to ensure compliance with health claims and ingredient disclosures.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports detailing output, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide regular updates to senior management on production performance, challenges, and achievements.

10. Budgeting & Cost Control

Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring the factory operates within financial constraints.

11. Collaboration with Other Departments

Basic scope:

The Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) was formed in 2016 to be the central coordinating platform for translational research and multi-centre clinical trials for thoracic malignancies in the Asia Pacific region. It is hosted by National Cancer Centre Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll for a team of 500 employees, handling all aspects including onboarding, terminations, overtime, allowances, deductions, salary recovery, leave, and benefits management.

Compliance and Reporting: Manage the preparation and submission of income tax clearances (IR21) for work pass holders, CPF contributions, IR8A forms, and government-paid claims.

Data Accuracy and Efficiency: Maintain precise employee data records and streamline payroll workflows to improve productivity.

Payroll Reporting and Audits: Prepare monthly payroll reports, manage brand-specific billing, fulfill government survey requirements, and support annual audit processes.

HR Collaboration: Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aligned with the company’s broader HR objectives.

Additional Responsibilities: Take on other HR-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll experience for teams of at least 100 employees; familiarity with Times Software is beneficial.

Education: Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) or a related discipline.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Employment Act, CPF requirements, and income tax regulations.

Skills: Highly detail-oriented, with excellent time management, strong proficiency in MS Excel, and a solid aptitude for numbers.

Responsibilities

1. Appointment Planning and Management

• Plan and manage appointments for water purifier installation and service maintenance.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule installations and maintenance services efficiently.
• Ensure all appointments are logged and tracked in the company system.

2. Customer Service and Follow-Up

• Answer customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Manage customer feedback and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Follow up on the closure of cases with the customer service department to ensure customer satisfaction.

3. On-Site Assistance

• Assist on-site with the installation and maintenance of water purifiers.
• Ensure installations and maintenance services are carried out according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues during installations and maintenance.

4. Roadshow Support

• Assist in the setup and tear down of roadshows and promotional events.
• Ensure all equipment and promotional materials are transported and set up correctly.
• Provide support during roadshows to promote products and services effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic technical knowledge related to water purifiers or similar products.
• Ability to handle physical tasks related to installation and event setup.

Reporting to: Manager

Work Hours: Full-time, including occasional weekends and public holidays as required for roadshows and customer appointments. 5.5 work week.

Skills Required

● Minimum Higher Nitec or A Level equivalent

● Possess a valid Class 3/3A driving license

● Operations/Logistics management experience
