• Oversee daily accounting operations, supervising the accounts payable, receivable, income audit, fixed assets, and general ledger functions.

What the role is

Operations Management and Engagement Department (OMED) oversees the day-to-day operations of NEA-managed hawker centres and works with stakeholders such as Town Councils and Hawkers Associations to ensure that the centres are clean and well-maintained.

What you will be working on

The job responsibilities include the following:

1.Tenancy Management

• End-to-end management of stall tenancies, from ensuring stalls are in tenantable condition, onboarding of new stallholders to processing applications of transfers, assignments, joint operators and termination etc.

• Conducting centre surveillance in HDB-owned Hawker Centres to flesh out areas of concerns to stakeholders such as Regional Offices, Town Councils and Hawkers Associations.
• Appointed by Designated Person (DP) as the Environmental Control Coordinator (ECC) for each hawker centre / wet market, to develop the ES programme in accordance with the ES standards and monitor its implementation on-site.

3.Feedback/Appeals Management & Stakeholders’ Engagement

• Managing feedback providers professionally to ensure that their feedbacks are being addressed or resolved promptly in accordance to NEA’s service standard.
• Regular engagement with stakeholders including stallholders, Merchants/Hawkers Association (MA/HA), Town Councils, other Agencies etc to implement initiatives and resolve operational issues related to Hawker Centres.

Summary of Responsibilities:

REVENUE MANAGEMENT STRAGEGY SUPPORT

• Support the Hotel Management and Director of Revenue Management to define the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future periods

PRICING, PLANNING & DISTRIBUTION OPTIMISATION

• Take daily decisions to optimise the hotel turnover. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management (RMLs open/close), group quotation, distribution channels... Ensure that these recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception, and that systems (PMS, CRS/TARS, RMS) are updated accordingly. 

REVPRO CULTURE

• Ensure that a “RevPRO culture” is spread in the hotel, through the animation of weekly yield meetings and regular coaching and training sessions for the hotel teams

Responsibilities:

• You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company.
• You will work with the Product Engineering team and Product Owners in helping to define product features that meet customers’ deployment and usability requirements.
• You will work with the Marketing team in helping them to understand the positioning, key benefits, and target customers of your products.
• Work with Marketing and Product Owners to contribute to product materials, including presentations, case studies, web content, whitepapers and more.
• You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your products, including communication with the sales channel and key customers.
• Conduct market research, customer requirements identification, competitive analysis and industry trend studies.
• Manage market requirements ensuring their refinement and continuous assessment with the Product Engineering team.
• Help to define and build a global roadmap based on key market trends and compelling opportunities that differentiates the company in the digital identity market.
• Work with Marketing, Sales, Product Engineering, and Professional Services teams to develop and lead internal content including sales enablement training, FAQs, and cheat sheets to
• Regularly work with strategic partners, sales management, and marketing counterparts to discuss and track progress on business and marketing plans and any open issues.
• Represent as product expert at industry, channel, partner, and customer events. Education and Experience:
• University graduate with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines and a minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM with emphasis on authentication and mobile security solutions.

Knowledge and Skills

• Technical aptitude, curiosity, and a keen understanding of the IAM and mobile ecosystem and its technical audiences.
• Strong experience as a product manager with a deep understanding of the motivations of technical audiences
• Solid knowledge about product development life cycle and experience involved at various stages including requirement review, UI/UX design, test case review, and production support.
• Strong ability in analyzing data to derive insights and make decisions
• A proven track record of the ability to understand technical personas and build adoption and engagement of new and existing product lines
• Knowledge in mobile/e-banking applications, software/platform architecture, market research, etc.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and project management skills
• Experience crafting compelling positioning, messaging and thought leadership content
• Ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Self-motivated, excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Willing to travel across the Asia Pacific region

What You'll Do:

• Seek out potential and new customers who are OEMs, EMS, CEMs, and end-user customers to achieve sales targets.
• Reach out and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers through various channels, including but not limited to cold calling, proposal emails, and in-person meetings.
• Process the sales orders to meet customers' requirement, for example, Spot-buy, lead time buy (bulk production order) and Excess Material resales.
• Oversee the complete sales process, including RFQs, quotations, order processing, and fulfillment, to consistently meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including procurement, QA and QC, logistics and warehouse, and finance, to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process for our customers.
• Contribute to various ad-hoc projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in this role.

About You:

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
• Proficiency in a secondary language, such as Japanese, is a plus.
• Background from a top 50 company in the industry, as well as experience in other SME trading companies, is advantageous.
• A high-energy and persistent approach to sales especially telesales, with a strong drive for success.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, logical thinking, a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure.
