Job Purpose

This is a role in SMBC’s Private Wealth Group and it includes supporting the establishment of credit and risk policies and responsibility for private wealth related credit products including structured lending (single stock financing), Lombard lending, mortgage lending and insurance related lending. • HR Consulting & Strategy: Provide advisory services in HR strategy, including talent management, performance management, and compensation alignment, to ensure HR practices are aligned with business goals.
• Psychometric Assessments: Use psychometric tools, such as MBTI and Hogan, to support talent acquisition, leadership development, and team dynamics, leveraging insights for impactful HR solutions.
• Digital HR Transformation: Lead HR digitalization projects, from platform selection to implementation, to streamline HR operations and improve employee experience.
• Talent Development: Develop succession plans, identify critical roles, and implement key talent initiatives, using a consultative approach to support client growth and strategic needs.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and addressing client needs in alignment with Ad Astra’s consulting philosophy.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.

About the Role

As our ASP Studio X Creative Director, you will work on a robust food and beverage account crafting disruptive ideas at the intersection of culture and technology that deliver impact. You enjoy conceptualizing thinking and have “Big Ideas” rooted in culture and trends. You will partner with the larger Studio X Creative, Strategy, Social, Influencer, PR, Digital, Production, Experiential and Shopper teams to create impactful brave and boundless creative ideas across brands for the clients.

The Creative Director will be a crucial part of the StudioX Creative team, working alongside the Creative Lead, Client Lead and Strategy Team. We’re looking for someone with extensive through the line experience.

You will be working within a region-wide borderless team model to service client needs, you will be required to execute and provide strategic direction and leadership within the group.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for the consistency, direction and execution of all creative output, overseeing, directing and approving a high volume of campaign launches, ATL, toolkits, activations and experiential ideas that build fame for the brands.
• Maintain a close relationship with the client to ensure you understand business critical needs and maintain an open dialogue on all creative campaigns.
• Work closely with the Creative Lead, Client Leads and Strategy team to get to the right briefs that deliver remarkable and innovative ideas.

What You’ll Need

• Must have experience of all aspects of the comms mix including ATL, digital, social, content, and video.
• 8+ years in an agency setting with portfolio of campaign that makes our jaw drop.
• Experience of running a modern creative department of ‘digital first’ thinkers and of a similar size is essential.
• Will also be involved in TV, print, radio etc campaigns, as well as extensions of global platform ideas, and in some cases, the strategic and creative origination of cross-channel campaigns for local brands.
• Must be forward thinking and embrace creative innovation in the digital space.
• Must be an effective manager of people to ensure creative department is motivated and enthusiastic, able to empower teams to take on responsibility and be inspired about their work.
• Ability and proven track record of leading and building high performing social creative teams.
• Strategically strong. Understands the client’s business and can connect business challenges with impactful ideas that drive business results.

Job Responsibilities

The Executive Director will provide the overall leadership in executing the strategic plan for Chinatown Heritage Centre (CHC), and advance various initiatives to drive the success of the Centre as a vibrant heritage hub in the ethnic enclave of Chinatown.

We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may come from a less traditional background. 1. Leadership

• Work in partnership with the Board of Directors to oversee all aspects of the institution, sustain its excellence and broaden its impact.
• Create a strong and stable financial foundation for CHC through various revenue, funding, and cost management strategies.
• Chief spokesperson. Represent CHC in professional meetings, development of contracts, and participation in industry events.
• Establish strong partnerships in the community to enhance business opportunities, cross-promotions, and collaborations to expand CHC’s public image.

2. Operations & Programming

• Direct CHC’s operations, including visitor experience, gallery tours, educational programs, public programming, curation and installation of special events, adhoc exhibitions, and managing of retail / event spaces.
• Oversee the management, maintenance, and capital projects of the property, facilities/grounds, and collections of CHC, engaging outside expert advice as necessary.
• Conduct periodic assessment and evaluation of CHC’s in-house programs, public events, and retail offerings

3. Planning & Administration

• Direct and oversee marketing initiatives, including the promotion of CHC through media outreach, press releases, website management, social media, etc.
• Lead, supervise and evaluate performance of museum staff and fulfil staffing requirements of CHC
• Attend board meetings as Executive Director and Overall Administrator of CHC.
• Prepare monthly / annual reports and execute all other reporting requirements as prescribed by the board.

Skills and experience

• Demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for CHC’s mission and strategic plan, and a willingness to grow the standing of the centre along with the larger Chinatown precinct.
• At least 5 years experience in museums / attractions / space activation / events organisation with strong track record of demonstratable success
• Excellent leadership and effective staff development and organizational skills, in areas such as hiring, coaching, problem solving, empowering staff to provide a positive customer experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships both internally and externally. Relate well to people from the events and tourism industry.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in managing P&L, budgeting and financial planning.
