4. Assist the superior in planning the yard relocation and allocation of containers
5. Ensure there is no delay at the gate and ensure smooth traffic flow at all times
6. Discuss and report to superior on any enhancement made to daily operations
7. Assist the superior to perform outdoor tasks like container nomination, container measurement, make shifting arrangement etc.
8. Attend to any additional services which are non-routine in nature (such as container door cannot open etc.)
9. Manage subordinates to achieve operational and service excellence
10. Report to superior if there is any dispute, accident and incident. Prepare the accident report and submit to superior
11. Conduct toolbox meeting weekly
12. Attend the regular operations meeting with shipping agents to discuss operations work plan and implementation
13. Keep track of fixed assets and ensure depot facilities are in good order
14. Liaise with DTT team to improve trucking efficiency
15. Regulate the importance and priority of every job order assigned to the operations team
16. Liaise with vendor on container repairs/ washing issues and ensure that they complete their jobs on time to meet our customers’ requirement. Ensure containers are repaired according to IICL/ cargo worthy standards or other customers’ criteria
17. Identify safety hazards in operations areas and proactively eliminate any risks
18. Ensure staff work safely in a safe workplace
19. Integrate safety into daily work activities
20. Adhere to statutory / company’s safety and health policies, procedures and regulations
21. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

• Developing a project plan and managing the schedule, budget, and team members’ time sheets to ensure completion of the project within the specified time frame

Responsibilities

· To manage operations at all the cafes and kiosks shops including all licensing and regulatory requirements and compliances

· To lead the operations to deliver within specific standards and schedules required, including sales targets

· To manage operational costs including manpower, equipment maintenance etc.

· To manage production planning, forecasting, purchasing and stock control for the various outlets

· To maintain and improve the overall performance of the café and kiosks shops on a regular basis including cost analysis and monitoring of process

· To work along with the Marketing team to develop Marketing Strategies and Promotion plans to successfully market the brands out to market

· Manage and supervise the food & beverage staff to ensure maximum utilization of the manpower allocated

· Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements

· To maintain close, professional and effective links with all external contractors/suppliers to ensure that they deliver to mutually accepted agreements and highest quality levels any other duties assigned by the management

Requirements

· Preferable Diploma in Food & Beverage

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managerial level

· Effective planning, project management and organizing skills

· Knowledge of food hygiene and Health and Safety requirements

· A good understanding of quality assurance, procedures and protocols

· Strong presentation and communication skills, verbal and written

· Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
