The Front Office Executive will assist the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth operations of the Front Office Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise the Guest Service Agent, Communications Officers, Cashiers and Bellman to ensure smooth running of the Front Desk.

2. Provide excellent guest services to all guests making their enquiries at the Front Office counters.

3. Escort VIP guests to their rooms and show them the amenities within the rooms.

4. Ensure that the availability of rooms are closely monitored to make the needs of the operations.

5. Assists all guests in their checking in and checking out registration and make them feel comfortable at all times.

6. Provide concierge services to the guests during their stay with the Hotel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Possess Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Accommodation from SHATEC or any

local training institutions.

2. Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in the same capacity in the Hotel industry.

3. Excellent customer service skills in handling large group check in and check out services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage all accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances, ensuring the prompt collection of dues.
• Prepare monthly AR aging reports and assist with end-of-month closing activities.
• Coordinate with the front office, sales, and reservations departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with hotel accounting systems (eg: HMS Infor) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle client inquiries and internal coordination.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Reservation Manager in planning, coordinating and controlling room reservation operations in the Hotel.
• Handle tour groups/ad hoc groups convention bookings and or correspondence pertaining to contracts by commercial companies, Travel Agents and Airlines.
• Ensure that the Front Desk staff, Reservation Agents are kept up to date with information concerning the hotel and department.
• Ensure that all daily transactions are keyed into the computer system and updated.
• Handle all incoming mails for reservations and highlights the important requirements and information.
• Attend to all replies for letters and fax with regards to room reservations.
• Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Managements.

• Fluent in spoken and written English to manage hotel guests, hotel's system and various reports.

What you will be working on
