Key Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Responsible for picking and sorting goods accurately as per requests.
• Executing bin-to-bin transfers.
• Assist with inventory system, keeping accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
• Clearing and stacking empty pallets in designated areas.
• Assisting in regular stock counts.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Goods Flow Team Manager, you will be responsible for the goods flow process in eCommerce in IKEA Tampines; ensuring the most efficient, commercial and safe way possible to provide a good shopping experience for our customers.

Your assignment

• You will be responsible for the picking of articles in the warehouse and shop floor for online and store customers, ensuring there is no backlogs in order to meet the delivery schedules
• You will perform inventory checks and ensure data integrity and the highest stocks availability for customers
• You will adhere to quality, security and safety service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• You will ensure the warehouse is clean and safe for work
• You may be required to operate pallet jack to move heavy articles

The Part Time - Delivery Driver cum Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse and the daily delivery of goods to customers.

Job Description

• Manage daily operations of the warehouse include storing of inventory as and when required, picking of daily goods for delivery, etc.
• Perform loading/ unloading/ arranging of warehouse cargo and items.
• Perform moving of warehouse cargo and items.
• Delivery of goods to customer
• Ensure goods are safely and timely delivered / collection
• Ensure vehicle cleaning and to upkeep vehicle maintenance, including petrol, cash cards and regular vehicle servicing.

Job Requirement

• Possess valid Class 3/4 (manual Transmission) with clean driving records
• Physically fit (able to carry heavy loads of 25kg)
• Responsible individual with good working attitude
• Effective communication skills in English
• Able to work independently and handle tight schedule
• 5.5 days week (Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm)

Salary: S$3,000 (depending on experience)

Working location: Tuas Lane (3 mins walk from Tuas West Rd)

Working days: 5 days a week

Working Hours: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for purchasing, logistics, and production planning.
• Review requested items for requisition and liaise with Supervisors/Projects Team to determine the material's suitability and identify and track overdue requests.
• Manage Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order.
• Obtain/source for product alternatives.
• Ensure items purchased are received on time to meet projects/customers' schedules and according to specifications.
• Responsible for sourcing and negotiation.
• Prepare purchase forecast planning.
• Ensure sufficient items are bought into the warehouse to support Sales and Production.
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude and develop this attitude in others.
• Responsible for logistics arrangement.
• Perform any other tasks and duties delegated by the Supervisor or Management.

Key Performance Expectations:

• Ensure cost, quality, and delivery across all Purchase functions.
• Take preventive action to avoid material shortages that will impact the production plan.

Job Requirements:

• A Level/Diploma in mechanical engineering.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in purchasing and production planning.
• SAP knowledge preferred, PC literate and proficient in MS Office application.
