Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares appropriate documents for the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment and service contracts according to procedures.

2. Proactive with good initiative and resourceful in identifying reliable suppliers with high level of integrity.

3. Receives and processes all approved purchase requisitions on a timely manner.

4. Reviews and verifies purchase requisitions to ensure that appropriate account coding is applied.

5. Makes vendor selection recommendations based on materials quality and price required by users.

6. Analyses all requests to determine the most efficient and economical way of processing request.

7. Negotiates with vendors for best pricing and other terms (payment/delivery terms, etc.)

8. Establishes good rapport and working relationship with internal customers and external suppliers.

9. Updates and maintains the Vendor list file.

10. Monitors and maintains record for Capital Expenditure.

11. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures. Recommends improvement to workflow where possible.

12. Provide supervision and guidance to Procurement officer.

13. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma in Business / Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.

· At least 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in Hospitality or F&B related industries.

· Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin so as to liaise with Mandarin speaking suppliers.

· A team player with effective communication and negotiation skills.

· Hands-on knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.

· Preferably with basic accounting knowledge.

· Able to multi-task, independent and meticulous.

Manager – Purchasing & Inventory Management

The main role is to manage the inventory movement to support the business operations in the servicing and repair of automobiles. This role will require candidate to lead, plan, review and monitor stock level for inventoried material to achieve material readiness to Operation at the most optimal inventory holding cost and storage capacity.

To meet the objective, this person needs to be a team player, problem solver, able to manage a team and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities: Purchasing and Inventory Management

• Lead a team of buyers/planners to provide material support to Operations.
• Lead, execute and drive inventory control, turns, Month of Supply, aging & obsolescence according to planned inventory holding target/cost.
• Work with business units to establish SLA & KPIs - stock turnaround time and safety stock level – to achieve optimal inventory holding cost
• Work with General Procurement / Finance to manage corporate governance and compliance related to Purchasing and Inventory Management Operations
• Conduct and participate in regular cycle count/stock take.
• Ensure stocks and documentation integrity by conducting internal checks and audit.
• Prepare, Generate and Review inventory reports to measure and monitor key performance indicators for effective inventory management operations.
• Manage exception and non-conformances with Supplier and work with them to improve overall delivery performances.
• Establish regular S&OP meeting with cross functional team to enhance overall performance and productivity.
• Establish stock policy and management approach for each material within their category/portfolio

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in Inventory Management or Demand Planning environment and preferably with supervisory/managerial experience.
• Analytical, team player, leadership, positive and good oral/written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS office especially Excel.
• Experience in MRP, APO or related inventory management software.

Working hours : 8.30am to 6pm

Responsibilities:

• Issue Purchase Order and submit monthly report.
• Source of quotation and liaise with vendors
• Working closely with sales team for new lead enquiry from customer
• Performing General Admin Duties & handle all general incoming call.
• Ensured vendor invoices are documented and processed in a timely manner

Procurement Management:

• Continuously evaluate opportunities for cost reduction while ensuring that goods are sourced efficiently and at market-aligned prices to maximize business value.
• Lead accurate demand forecasting in collaboration with sales and marketing teams, maintaining clear communication on forecasts, inventory estimates, supply status, and risk mitigation plans.
• Analyze sales trends and influencing factors to inform forecasting and inventory planning decisions.
• Implement spending controls to promote long-term savings on procurement costs.

Strategic Sourcing & Leadership:

• Establish productive partnerships with key suppliers for food/beverage raw materials, ingredients, and packaging to fulfill business requirements.
• Work closely with sales and marketing to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support growth and profitability objectives.
• Provide coaching to team members to enhance their skills and foster their career development.

Policies, SOPs, Business Systems:

• Act as the primary expert in procurement and planning, developing relevant policies and procedures.
• Oversee the purchasing system, Costpoint, and provide strategic guidance on procurement actions, approval processes, and tracking of purchase requests and orders.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure procurement practices align with corporate standards.

Compliance Management:

• Stay updated on import/export regulations and train staff to ensure compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in FMCG, with a focus on meat/cheese/cold products.
• Proven ability to manage significant cost of goods and achieve cost savings.
• Effective leadership skills with a talent for guiding team members in accurate forecasting and inventory management.
• Strong decision-making and multitasking abilities.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and delivering results as a team player and mentor.
• Solid business acumen, adaptable mindset, and adeptness in managing relationships across the organization and with suppliers.
