The Role: AI/ML Specialist

We are seeking an AI/Machine Learning Specialist to lead the development, deployment, and optimization of advanced AI models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges in the climate tech space, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP) using models like BERT and tools like Azure Document Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune and optimize generative AI models, including BERT and similar transformer-based models.
• Design and implement AI agents for a variety of use cases.
• Explore and experiment with new AI techniques, particularly in recommender systems.
• Build and maintain inference pipelines for real-time AI applications.
• Manage model deployment, versioning, and continuous validation pipelines.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to derive insights and inform decision-making, leveraging Azure Document Intelligence for document processing and data extraction.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Master's or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
• Expertise with transformer models, especially BERT and similar NLP models.
• Experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing models in production environments.
• Proficiency with NLP libraries such as PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers, SpaCy, etc.
• Familiarity with Azure Document Intelligence for document analysis and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering AI solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

Qualifications

Degree holder or equivalent qualification

- Minimum 6-10 years working experience in international Logistics.

- Extensive experience in international transportation, intimate knowledge of order management, freight forwarding, warehousing and land transportation services.
