Meta is seeking an Escalations Specialist to join the Risk and Response, Regulatory Escalations team. The Risk and Response team develops scaled solutions to user issues, protects users by decreasing negative engagement on the site and delivers qualitative and quantitative insight into user behavior. This individual will work to improve the overall user escalations experience for Meta community and will be responsible for working cross-functionally across different internal and external teams to help us intelligently scale our escalations function. They will be part of a team that will communicate clearly to various stakeholders and provide key updates and findings as high priority escalations unfold. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be an expert on enforcing Facebook/Instagram Community standards and policies including some basic compliance policies
• Investigate reported escalations across multiple channels on Facebook/Instagram and respond to sensitive global partners inquiries
• Address traumatic, sensitive and potentially offensive content
• Communicate results of technical analyses with non-technical partners
• Gather, analyze and utilize relevant data and escalation trends to develop improvements to the overall escalation processes and provide recommendations for process, policy and product improvements
• Be comfortable dealing with high pressure escalations, grey areas and pulling in cross functional experts, when appropriate, to resolve issues swiftly while putting users first
• The role will require tight coordination with global cross-functional teams including Public Policy, Legal, Community Operations and others to problem solve and develop solutions

THE ROLE:

SEMI is seeking a Sr. Specialist for our Sustainability group. This position is responsible for managing environmental and social stewardship projects. Our SEMI Sustainability programs is themed on rallying the semiconductor value chain to bring about collective urgent climate action. The Sustainability program is focused on making a positive impact on our member’s response to carbon emission requirements, Circular economy efforts, and positive activities to accelerate our industry’s response to changes coming at them.

This a full-time, exempt position that reports directly to the Vice President of SEMI Sustainability at SEMI HQ in Milpitas, CA.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate and manage activities across ESG working groups

· Organize meetings and events with communications to stakeholders through multiple channels and across venues, e.g., conferences, workgroups, workshops, webinars

· Document and coordinate action items such as meeting summaries, 1:1s with committee leadership, regional internal webinars.

· Communicate status and updates internally and externally.

· Monitor engagement statistics.
