The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of quality service and products, regularly engaging in systemic and process reviews for continuous improvement. He/She will lead a team of QC/ QA personnel to work with Production, Sales & Operation teams to ensure and provide training for meeting strict quality and food safety compliance. The incumbent must have relevant work experience in food manufacturing and a track record in change leadership and quality management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal & external on control design and process flow. Implementation of SCADA/PLC/DCS projects from concept to design, configuration & programming, testing and commissioning for process plants.
• Troubleshoot electrical design and software issues together with assembly/debug team.
• Lead and provide coaching, supervise, make sound decisions and guide to Control Engineer and electrical team.

Job Description

• Carry out troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find out the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality get back to normal
• Respond to technical queries from operation personnel and provide advice/solution according to best engineering practice to address issues which affect the operation of the power plant
• Follow C&I work instructions and propose changes for improvement where necessary
• Lead the execution of shutdown works for instrumentation to ensure completion of shutdown work on time
