• Represents control testing in Operational Risk Forums (ORF) and senior meetings as needed and works with each respective team to finalize materials.
• Develops and drives quality-checking routines to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, operating guides, and owned control testing.
• Supports team members on topics ranging from testing design and execution to performance management and control testing platforms basics.
• Helps driving continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of MCA control design assessment and controls testing.
• Maintains relationships and drives accountability with partners and stakeholders to drive control testing's success in support of the business's strategy.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 10+ years relevant experience, 5+ years in Risk & Controls roles, 5+ years of direct management experience preferred.
• Subject matter expert on controls design, execution and/or control testing.
• Expert-level understanding of MCA (Managers Control Assessment) frameworks and processes.
• Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
• Effective communication, written and presentation skills.
• Outstanding people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration.
• Independent thinker and able to perform a credible challenge of businesses/functions.
• Ability to work effectively on virtual teams, including across different geographies and time zones preferred.
• Investment securities and/or insurance licenses preferred (e.g., Series 7, 9,10, 24, 63, 53, 55, 66, L&H).

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Wealth Ops cluster and management team to execute a robust risk control and governance framework for Wealth Ops in Asia (across functional verticals of Lending, Onboarding and Client Reporting). Enhance the focus on controls and governance related to Wealth Ops business to ensure that controls are keeping in pace with the evolving Business landscape.
• Accountable for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy and Control Inventory in the functional vertical.
• Lead or support identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommend holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
• Help drive a strong control culture and ensuring permanent controls readiness through proactive risk management and issue self-identification.
• Support management in the review and challenge process, within the OPS Front line units, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution.
• Lead and support interface of Audits and Examinations in the vertical supported. Provide advisory and support to the Wealth Ops team on Internal Audit reviews and regulatory exams.
• Assess, with management, the risks associated with New Activities and changes to the Business, ensuring these are well understood and adequately controlled (if applicable).
• Support management on operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing for Operational Risk Capital requirements.

Responsibilities:

· To take direction from Document Control Manager

· To be able to work as a proactive team member

· Management & filing of all Project documentation (Outgoing & Incoming)

· Preparation of Document Issue Packages to meet Project stage deliverables as defined by the Project Team Leader

· Checking that all documents meet defined AEDAS standards before being transmitted, and to highlight non-compliances to team members responsible. i.e. File name & drawing nomenclature compliance (Checked against any earlier revisions).

· Maintenance of Electronic PDF in project folders reflecting:

o AEDAS “Current“ Documents (Drawings, Specifications, Reports)

o “Current” Documents from all other Consultants

o “Current” Documents from Contractors as Submission Packages documents

· Downloading, Internal distribution and eventually filing of contractor submissions

· Uploading of commented documents via Workflow

· Assistance in preparation of and updating the distribution matrix as and when required, and advising all changes as appropriate

· Production of Reports to include but not limited to;

o Incoming & Outgoing reports on a weekly basis

o Tracking registers to record receipt & return of submittals

o To maintain & manage RFI tracking lists

Requirements:

· Document Control Assistant - 1 year of working experiences in Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) environments, such as Aconex, Procore & BIM360 Documents

· Document Controller - 4 years of working experiences in Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) environments, such as Aconex, Procore & BIM360 Documents

· To fully engage with the usage of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and any other electronic document control systems pertinent to a project.

· Illustrate a positive, proactive attitude

· Logical approach to work with a consistent attention to detail

· A full understanding of AEDAS IMS and its supporting documents

· Ability to cope with conflicting demands, to be able to proactively highlight any conflicts of priorities and suggest action plans to resolve issues
