A Day In The Life:

This role will Ensure products manufactured by contract manufacturer meet all defined specifications and are developed and manufactured in compliance with all applicable quality system requirements and provide leadership to work with different Medtronic entities and set up the strong relationship to support the implementation of Quality Systems for the new entity in implementing China localization strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up the Quality Systems to it meets Singapore, China and requirement countries requirement.
• Establishes quality programs and initiatives to ensure products and assemblies are developed and manufactured per applicable requirements.
• Establish strong supplier control and Quality oversight over suppliers and Medtronic entities.
• Driving continual and preventive improvement of quality management systems in supporting the conformity of process and product quality.
• Supports and develops systems for the identification, analysis, correction, and prevention of quality issues.
• Contributes quality expertise to product development and manufacturing transfers including working closely with suppliers to implement robust manufacturing processes and Quality oversight.
• Oversees and lead key quality systems processes to ensure its effectiveness which includes Design Control, Supplier Controls, Quality Planning, Document Controls, Training, Audits, Change Controls, Nonconformance CAPA, Manage External Requirement, etc.
• Leads the site audit readiness and manages, conducts and coordinates external (Singapore, China, ISO, etc.) audits.
• Take preventive actions to improve the compliance and effectiveness of Quality Management Systems by proactive learning from other sites and best practices from the industry.
• Provides QA support, participate and collaborate with Operating Units improvement program
• Works with local management team members in developing long and short-term quality goals and strategies.
• CAPA board memberParticipate in CAPA and board meetings to review the trending of all input sources and determine if any further action is needed
  Perform review on the CAPA investigation, action plan and effectiveness to determine if CAPA process requirement are fulfilled.
  
• Represents the new entities to collaborate with peers across all Operating Units for global quality initiatives and works closely with peers on similar quality concerns between Medtronic sites

Responsibilities

• Perform AML monitoring/review on Trade post-transaction files.
• Review/investigate Trade manual screening alerts and red flag escalated by trade processing team for potential sanction violations in accordance with SMBC policies.
• Ensure that review and investigation conclusions are adequately and properly documented for regulatory/audit level review.
• Coordinate and/or prepare the required management information reporting data as applicable
• Perform daily name screening alert clearance
• Investigate and report discrepancies and irregularities arising from transactions, system failure, etc and resolve issues including handling stakeholder’s complaints and escalating all issues to Group Head / Deputy Group Head promptly.
• Other tasks as assigned by Group Head / Team Lead
• Regular update of Procedures and Manuals to ensure the group operations is in accordance to SMBC policies, audit comments and in compliance to local as well as related overseas law and regulations

Your Role

Quality Assurance Specialist is to promote and integrate quality into every aspect of our BioReliance® biologics safety testing business in Singapore. The role is to perform batch record review (i.e. data audits) to support all aspects of quality operations to ensure that laboratory testing operates in full compliance with sound scientific practice, GxP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The scope of responsibility is to contribute or impact the results of the QA team and is accountable for the quality of own work, solve problems of low complexity independently by identifying and selection solutions and by analyzing information.

The post holder will be able to perform the following functions independently, with minimal guidance.

What You Do

• Batch record review: Review and approval of GxP documents, including Protocols, Technical Specification (TS), Batch Records, Workbooks, SOPs and all other QMS documentation.
• Batch record review: Comply with all applicable policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Batch record review: Conduct in-process or final audits and approval on manufacturing or testing documentation as they comply with the stated regulatory standards and the approved TS, protocol or SOPs.
• Batch record review: Release of the certificate of analysis for GMP testing against the TS and associated documentation.
• Batch record review: Prepare QA statement within each GLP final report specifying inspections date, and dates findings were reported to the Study Director and management.

• Assist self-inspections to ensure continuous improvement.

Purpose of role:

This role will focus on improving internal testing processes and be hands-on with both manual and automation software testing. The role will support several key web product initiatives and ensure high quality software release to our customers, both internal operations team and external customers.

Role Purpose:

Monitoring and Prevention of Incidents - Raises Observations and NCR reports and liaises with the Classification Certification Authority/Customer on acceptance of work and providing support in incident notification and investigation, as well as implementation of preventive measures.

Agility to Evolving Specifications - Adheres to change management procedure when technical/site queries are raised and agreed by relevant parties if any deviation to Specifications/approved procedures is required

Monitoring of the Delivery Process - Manages timely resolution of quality issues arising from each vendor to ensure the equipment/package arrives on site with zero / minimal carry-over work.

Raising Punch Lists - Witnesses and completes applicable A-ITR’s by verifying each line item, as well as raises punch-lists and clears rectification of punches as applicable in respective discipline, to ensure the delivery in full with adherence to quality requirements

Qualifications:

Structure – CSWIP 3.1/AWS or Equivalent.

Piping – CSWIP 3.1 /API 570 or Equivalent.

Painting – NACE level II or Equivalent.

• Leads the QA function to ensure quality system development and compliance with FDA's Quality System Regulation, 13485, MDD / EU MDR, and other quality requirements.

Must Have
