Job Purpose
You will assist to increase premium production and achieve intermediaries’/clients’ satisfaction.
The Job
· Responsible for GWP & Underwriting Profit set for Agency Channel
· Tracking, monitoring and analyzing agents’ productivity / retention.
· Conduct Visitation and Network with Intermediaries to enhance business relationship
· To arrange and provide training to agents and business partners.
· Underwrite and provide quotations in accordance with assigned authorized limits and within the company’s underwriting guidelines and treaty terms. To seek treaty clearance when necessary. Review and negotiate renewal terms and follow up on policy renewal before expiry. Review Underwrite request for mid-term changes to the policy coverage. Arrange facultative reinsurance in accordance with the company’s reinsurance security guidelines. Arrange and/or conduct risk survey when necessary. Joint visitation with Agents, if required.
· Participate in credit controls and premium management.
· Participate in any ad-hoc projects assigned.
· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
· Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements
· Certificate in General Insurance (BCP, ComGI, PGI) , Certificate in Health Insurance
· Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in similar field
· Good team player who is task and results oriented
· Meticulous and excellent interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
